CRAFT II Plus: The Unbeatable Powerhouse
The CRAFT II plus is manufactured using an aluminum die-casting process, featuring a one-piece protective shield. It is characterized by its resistance and revolutionary thermal management, performing exceptionally even in challenging environments with extreme mechanical or chemical loads. Its design ensures durability and longevity, even in high ambient temperatures (up to 70°C) for at least 100,000 hours.
CRAFT II Performance: The Robust Lightweight
The CRAFT II performance is durably produced and powerful in action, housed in a lightweight yet robust sheet steel enclosure. It is a highly efficient luminaire for high spaces, versatile in its application thanks to six different light distribution curves. The enclosure is produced with zero carbon emissions and is "Made in Germany".

CRAFT II represents the first generation of Zumtobel high-bay luminaires based on the platform principle. It's not a static, self-contained solution, but a tailor-made system offering maximum power and perfect adaptation to the specific requirements of the respective business.
Revolutionary Thermal Management
The CRAFT II plus utilizes two physical principles simultaneously for cooling and cleaning: the Venturi and Coandă effects. This innovative high-bay luminaire distinguishes itself from its predecessors and withstands high ambient temperatures (up to 70°C) throughout its entire lifespan of at least 100,000 hours. It achieves this through an intelligent interplay of air pressure, air speed, and air temperature, supported by an aluminum housing that conducts heat exceptionally well.
- Self-cleaning thanks to the Coandă effect: The Coandă effect, a principle from aviation, is applied to the CRAFT II plus. A pressure imbalance forces the airflow against the curved surface of the luminaire, efficiently cooling the LED boards. The airflow also removes normal dust from the luminaire's surface.
- Efficient cooling thanks to the Venturi effect: Specially designed nozzles in the CRAFT II frame generate a vacuum, causing air to circulate at high speed between the LED control units and LED boards. This Venturi effect cools the CRAFT II efficiently, enabling the powerful luminaire to operate even at extremely high ambient temperatures.

Its robust aluminum housing and impact-resistant, glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide cover for electronic components ensure durability. The diffusers are also resistant to chemical and mechanical loads.

- LED boards: Designed for a very long lifespan with high-quality LED chips, offering increased resistance to moisture, temperature, and chemicals.
- Diffusers: Resistant to chemical influences and mechanical loads, available in polycarbonate, PMMA, or CHEMO.
- Frame: A solid frame made of the same material as the housing protects key internal components and ensures optimal protection of sealing elements.
- LED control unit: Specially developed industrial LED control unit for CRAFT II, offering enhanced safety through robust design and extensive testing under extreme conditions, and high reliability due to the selection of high-quality components.
- Connectivity and Sensors: Various sensor options are available for maximum comfort and efficiency, including microwave sensors for presence detection and daylight sensors. All variants can be controlled wirelessly or via DALI. IoT integration is also possible.

They are suitable for both new constructions and renovation projects, offering cost savings and wireless options. Luminaires and sensors can be wirelessly integrated, grouped, and controlled, with seamless integration into the Internet of Things (IoT) via easily installed IoT modules.

The CRAFT PROTECTION SHIELD (CPS) is a protective shield designed for demanding industrial environments. Available in aluminum or sheet steel, the housing is manufactured from a single piece, ensuring that sensitive components like sensors and IoT technology are fully covered and protected from water ingress.
Unlike conventional high-bay luminaires where screws on the top can allow moisture and chemicals to penetrate, the CRAFT II's screw connections are located on the underside and are completely covered by the innovative CPS. This provides maximum protection, even under maximum water pressure.
High-Pressure Cleaning Ready
The attractive design with smooth surfaces and rounded corners of the CRAFT II product family minimizes cleaning effort. The smooth surface of the CRAFT II performance and the ample spacing between the ribs on the CRAFT II plus make manual cleaning easier. All CRAFT II luminaires are supplied with IP66 water-tightness class as standard. For high-pressure cleaning, the CRAFT II plus can be optionally supplied with IP69 protection via myCRAFT II, thanks to the CRAFT PROTECTION SHIELD and an innovative sealing system.
