Warning

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury, always follow the instructions strictly.

2. Do not connect this smart plug to appliances that contain heating elements (cooking appliances, heaters, irons, etc.). Failure of the smart plug to shut off such devices may lead to overheating and potential fire.

4. Children are not allowed to use the smart plug without supervision.
5. Do not disassemble or repair the product; only authorized service personnel are allowed.
6. Do not immerse in water.
7. Always unplug and store indoors when not in use.
8. The Chome app is only compatible with Android 4.0/iOS 7.0 and above systems.

Product Layout

The product consists of a grounded plug, an LED indicator & manual switch & program button, and an electrical socket.

LED Indicator Status

• Slow Flashing Red: The smart plug has been reset and needs to enter AP mode.
• Red Steady Light: The smart plug is disconnected or has other abnormalities.
• Blue Steady Light: The smart plug is in remote control state, and the power is on.
• LED Off: The smart plug is in remote control state, and the power is off.

Software Installation

Scan QR Code or search "Chome" in Google Play or the App Store to download and install the app.

Register

If you don't have an app account, register an account by following these steps:

1. Open the Chome app and tap “Register” to enter the registration page.
2. The system automatically recognizes your country/ area. You can also select your country code. Enter the mobile number/ E-mail and tap “Next”.
3. If you enter the mobile number, then enter the verification code in the message, and enter the password, tap "Confirm" to finish your registration.

You can also sign in with verification code by SMS without registering.

Note: Each device can only be connected to one account. If anyone else needs to control it, please share your device via the app.

Add Device

1. Plug the smart plug into a socket.
2. Sign in your account and tap the "+" button on the top right corner of the app, and then choose the "Electrical Outlet".
3. Press and hold the program button on the smart plug for over 5 seconds, and confirm that the LED indicator is blinking rapidly.
4. Select the Wi-Fi that the smart plug will connect to. Enter the Wi-Fi password and confirm.
5. The app will proceed with the connection process.
6. After the connection process is complete, the indicator (red) on the smart plug will stop blinking, the plug has been connected and is ready for operation.

Warm Tips: If the Wi-Fi signal is weak or cannot connect with the device, please tap the "AP Mode" on the top right corner to enter the AP mode. Then tap "how to make indicator slowly blink" to view operation processes.

Note: Wi-Fi outlet configuration only supports a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. If your router supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, please make sure the network names are different, and then connect to the 2.4GHz network.

Works with Amazon Alexa

Link Chome account to Alexa

1. Open your Alexa app, tap "Skills” in the menu, and then search "Chome”. Select "Chome” and tap "Enable" to enable the Chome skills.
2. You will be directed to the account link page. Type in your "Chome" account and password, select your country/ region where your account belongs to. And then tap "Link Now" to link your Chome account.

Control your smart devices

Discover devices

Echo needs to discover your smart devices before it controls them. You can say "Alexa, discover devices" to Echo. Echo will discover devices which have already been added in Chome app. You can also tap "discover devices" to discover the smart devices. Discovered devices will be shown in the list.

Note: Every time you change the device's name on the Chome app, Echo must re-discover before you control them.

Works with Google Home

Add Device to Home Control

Open your Google Home app, add device in Home Control of the Google Home app. Select "Smart Life”, and fill in the correct login information of your Chome account to finish the account linking. Your device will be shown in Home Control device list.

Multi-functional Timer

This smart plug is designed with programmable, random, countdown, and repeat timer functions, allowing you to schedule the smart plug switch to turn on and off automatically as needed.

1. Program

You can set the on/off time in a 7-day period with a 1-minute interval according to your needs. Every program you set repeats weekly.

1. Set the hours and minutes of the start time.
2. Set the hours and minutes of the end time.
3. Select the desired days.

After finished, tap “Save” and the program will be activated automatically. If you want to set multiple on/off schedules, repeat steps A-B. You can also shut any of these settings at any time.

2. Countdown

Tap "Countdown" to set the hours and minutes, and then tap the start button. The smart plug will maintain the current state (on or off) until the end of the countdown. It will exit countdown mode automatically if you turn on/off manually.

3. Random

Either +/- 30 minutes than setting ON/OFF time, randomly control lights or other devices when you are away from home, making it appear as if you're still at home to deter intruders. The setting process is the same as "Program".

4. Repeat

You can set the duration of each on and off, the start and end time according to your needs. The on/off schedule will repeat between the start and end time. For example: You set a period from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, turn on your electric fan for one hour, and off for two hours. The outlet will repeat on/off from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

If you want to delete the schedule you set, press and hold the schedule, a dialog box will appear. Tap "Confirm" and delete the schedule.

Share Devices with Your Family

Tap "Profile" on the home page and find “Device Sharing”. Operate as Device Sharing -Add- Share with new member. You should input a registered account and share the device with them. Then the new member can control the shared device.
