Artemide Chilone Floor and Wall Light Assembly Instructions

General Safety and Preparation

Note: Before commencing any work on the fixture, always switch off the mains power supply.

Floor Installation (CHILONE FLOOR 45-90-UP)

The light fitting requires a concrete base-plate (A) with a draining well (fig. 1). Do not position the base-plate where water may stagnate. Cast concrete in the selected position, taking care to leave a passage for routing the corrugated sheath (B) through the centre.

Assembly Steps:

1. Preparation: Loosen the 4 screws (C). Remove the column (D) from the light fitting mounting base (E) (refer to Fig. 2).
2. Marking: Use the mounting base (E) as a template to mark the positions for the holes (F) to be drilled (refer to Fig. 3).
3. Fixing: Use heavy-duty screw anchors for fixing (refer to Fig. 4).
4. Wiring: Carry out the wiring according to polarity: white to white, black to black, and green to green, creating a water-resistant connection. Fit the connection inside the draining well made earlier.
5. Final Assembly: Put the column (D) back into place and screw in the 4 screws (C) to secure it (refer to Fig. 5).

Wall Installation (CHILONE WALL)

Preparation: Remove the 2 screws (G) with washers and take out the fixture body (H) (refer to Fig. 6).

Drilling: Drill holes according to the desired orientation (refer to Fig. 7). Use the bracket (I) as a template for drilling.

Fixing: Use dowels for heavy-duty anchors for fixing. Unscrew the closing cover (L) from the bracket (I).

Mounting: Apply silicone to the j-box edge and fasten the bracket (I) to the wall.

Wiring: Connect the black cable of the j-box to the black cable of the fixture body, the white cable of the j-box to the white cable of the fixture body, and the green cable of the fixture and the green cable of the bracket to the green cable of the j-box.

Final Assembly: Fix the cover (L) to the bracket (refer to Fig. 8). Put the light fitting body (H) back into place, ensuring the cable is correctly positioned inside it. Screw in the 2 screws (G) with washers (refer to Fig. 9).
