About SeleS
SeleS is designed to be a spatial palindrome, subtly integrating into its surroundings through illumination and reflection. This unique lighting fixture features a disk mirrored on both sides, with a continuous light set back on the side, which illuminates the environment without being intrusive.
SeleS is a versatile solution suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces. It reflects the architecture, creating new perspectives and interacting dynamically with the surrounding environment and nature.
The fixture can be oriented on its vertical axis, allowing for multiple configurations. The availability of two heights from the ground, along with a suspended version, enables the capture of different viewpoints and reflections, thereby altering the perception of space and creating scenographic landscapes.

About the Authors
Carolina Gismondi dB
Carolina Gismondi de Bevilacqua is an architect and designer based in Milan, Italy. She completed her Part 2 at the Architectural Association in London, UK, after receiving her BA in Civil Architecture from Politecnico di Milano. As Creative Director at KooZA/rch, Carolina focuses her research on critical conversations about architecture in the expanded field, with a particular interest in exploring the multiple realms of unbuilt architecture. Her interests span architecture, arts, drawing, lighting, and communication. Since 2019, she has been instrumental in shaping Artemide's brand image, both in its digital and architectonic forms, while also developing interior solutions for residential and commercial venues.
