General Warnings and Safety

Important Safety Information:

• Before performing any operation on the fixture, disconnect the power supply.
• The fixture cannot be powered by an outlet controlled by a dimmer.
• This equipment is guaranteed only when used as indicated in these instructions. Therefore, they should be kept for future reference.
• The fixture is classified as Class III [Class III Symbol]. It must be supplied with a safety transformer conforming to current regulations.
• The fixture has been tested according to the standard IEC 62471:2006 for photobiological safety of lamps and is classified in the 'exempt' risk group.
• Artemide s.p.a. assumes no responsibility for products modified without prior authorization.
• If the power supply cable needs replacement, contact the Artemide service centre.

Installation Instructions

Table Base Mounting

Refer to Figure 1. Insert the lamp body (A) into the base (B). Turn the base (B) upside down, position the bush (C), the washer (D), and lock with the screw (E) as shown in Figure 2. Adjust the stiffness of the fixture by turning the two ring nuts (F) (Figure 3).

Figure 1 shows the lamp body (A) and the table base (B). Figure 2 details the assembly of the lamp body (A) to the base (B) using bush (C), washer (D), and screw (E). Figure 3 illustrates the adjustment rings (F) on the lamp arm for controlling stiffness.

Wall Mounting

Refer to Figure 4. Fix the support (G) to the wall. Insert the lamp body (A) into its proper seat by rotating and pressing it downward.

Figure 4 shows the wall mount support (G) and the method for attaching the lamp body (A).

Clamp Mounting

Refer to Figure 5. Fix the clamp (H) using the screw (I). Insert the lamp body (A) into its proper seat by rotating and pressing it downward.

Figure 5 depicts the clamp (H) attached with a screw (I) and the lamp body (A) being inserted.

Fixed Table Mounting

Refer to Figure 6. Drill a hole (diameter 18.5-19.5mm) in the chosen flat surface. Insert the support (L) and lock the ring nut (M). Insert the lamp body (A) into its proper seat by rotating and pressing it downward. Note: Do not use nuts and bolts supplied with the base.

Figure 6 illustrates the fixed table mount, showing the support (L) inserted into a hole and secured by a ring nut (M), with the lamp body (A) attached.

Floor Mounting

Insert the stem (N) into the base (O) and secure it with the washer and screw (P). Position the three wire holders (Q) on the stem (N). Insert the lamp body (A) into its seat by rotating and pressing downwards. Route the feeding cable through the wire holders (Q).

Operation and Power Supply

Power Supply: Use the appropriate outlet adapter with the transformer. Before connecting the transformer to the outlet, verify that the rated voltage marked on it matches the network voltage. Connections between fixtures and transformers/outlets not defined by Artemide are not permitted.

Operation: The fixture features a dimmer for light intensity adjustment. To turn the fixture on, briefly touch the central part of the switch (R) located on the power cable. To regulate light intensity, keep switch (R) pressed until the desired or maximum level is reached. A second prolonged press of switch (R) reverses the regulation direction towards the minimum. To turn the fixture off, briefly touch switch (R). Upon reactivation, the fixture will resume the last set light intensity.

LED Replacement

The fixture is equipped with a light source designed for exceptionally long life. Should LED replacement become necessary, it must be performed exclusively by Artemide's specialized personnel.
