Safety Precautions
- Before initial use, check that your local power supply matches the appliance specifications.
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only, as described in this manual. It is not intended for industrial use.
- Do not use the iron if the power cord, plug, or the appliance itself is damaged.
- Keep the power cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces.
- Never pull the power cord to unplug the appliance; always grasp the plug.
- Do not reel the cord around the device housing.
- Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself. If you encounter problems, contact the nearest customer service center.
- Using accessories or replacement parts not recommended by the manufacturer may cause damage to the appliance.
- Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning, maintenance, or storage. Keep unplugged when not in use.
- To avoid electric shock and fire, do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. If this happens, immediately unplug it and contact a service center for inspection.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning its use by a person responsible for their safety.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is plugged in or hot.
- Place the steam iron carefully on an ironing board.
- Be careful not to touch the metal parts of the soleplate or the water tank during operation, as they can become very hot.
- Avoid ironing over zippers, rivets, or other metal embellishments, as they can scratch the soleplate.
- Do not place the steam iron on metal or rough surfaces.
- Handle the steam iron carefully to avoid burns, as hot water or steam may leak out if the iron is tilted or inverted.
Before First Use
- Remove any plastic protector from the soleplate.
- Clean the soleplate with a soft, damp cloth and then dry it.
- A characteristic smell may be emitted during the first few uses due to lubrication of metal parts; this is normal.
Operation
Setting Temperature
Sort fabrics by material type (e.g., wool with wool, cotton with cotton). Start ironing fabrics that require lower temperatures first, as the iron heats up faster than it cools down.
If a fabric is made of mixed fibers, select the temperature suitable for the fiber requiring the lowest heat. For example, an item with 60% polyester and 40% cotton should be ironed at the polyester setting, preferably without steam.
Turn the temperature control dial to the setting appropriate for the fabric type.

Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the steam iron is unplugged before filling.
- Set the temperature controller to the OFF position.
- Hold the steam iron in a horizontal position.
- Slowly pour water into the water filler opening using a plastic beaker. Do not fill beyond the "MAX" indicator line to prevent overflow.
- If you need to refill the water tank while ironing, unplug the appliance from the power supply before refilling.
- Use tap water. If your tap water is very hard, use distilled water.
Emptying the Water Tank
- The water tank should be emptied after each use.
- Unplug the steam iron from the power supply.
- While the iron is still warm, hold it over a sink and drain the water by tipping the soleplate downwards. Gently shake the iron to loosen any trapped water drops. The residual warmth should help dry the tank.
- If you empty the tank after the iron has cooled down, place the iron upright on its heel rest, plug it in, set the temperature to maximum for 2 minutes, then unplug it.
Spraying
- As long as there is sufficient water in the tank, the spray function can be used at any temperature setting, for both steam and dry ironing.
- Press the spray button several times to prime the pump.
Steam Ironing
- With the unit unplugged, fill the steam iron with water and press down the steam button.
- Stand the iron upright on its heel rest on an iron-safe surface and plug it in.
- Set the temperature to the maximum setting.
- Ironing can commence once the light indicator turns off, signifying the desired temperature has been reached. Press the steam button upwards to activate steam.
- When finished, unplug the appliance from the power supply.
- Caution: Avoid contact with escaping steam.
Dry Ironing
- The steam iron can be used for dry ironing with or without water in the tank. It is recommended not to overfill the tank if only dry ironing will be performed.
- Stand the iron upright on its heel rest on an iron-safe surface, press down the steam button, and plug it in.
- Select the temperature best suited for the fabric to be ironed.
- Ironing can commence once the light indicator turns off.
- When finished, unplug the appliance from the power supply.
- Caution: If the steam iron has been used for a long time, is hot, and the water tank is empty, allow it to cool down before refilling.
Cleaning and Care
- Before cleaning, ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool.
- Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the soleplate.
Storage and Transport
- Unplug the iron and allow it to cool down completely.
- Empty the water tank after each use.
- Wrap the power cord around the heel rest for storage.
- To protect the soleplate, store the iron in an upright position on its heel rest.
- Storage conditions: Store in a dry place at room temperature with humidity not exceeding 80%.
- Ensure the packaging is protected during transport.
