Operation
Making Homemade Sausage
- Prepare ground meat with salt and spices. Soak sausage casings in warm water to make them elastic.
- Place the sausage casing onto the adapter and tie a knot at the end. The knot should be 1-2 cm from the adapter opening to allow the meat to fill the casing tightly. Place the ground meat into the food tray. Place a container under the output. Connect the appliance to the mains and turn it on by pressing the ON button.
- Gently push the meat into the casing using the pusher.
- Slide the casing off the adapter as it fills. Leave a portion of the casing empty for tying. Do not overload the meat grinder. When finished, turn off the meat grinder and remove any remaining meat.
- Twist the casing to form sausages. Determine the length of the sausage as desired.
- After use, unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
Using the Reverse Function
- If the meat grinder jams, turn it off by setting the ON/OFF/R button to OFF. Wait for the screw to stop rotating. Without unplugging from the power outlet, switch the button to R for 5-10 seconds. The screw will rotate in the reverse direction and push out the jammed food.
- If this does not help, unplug the meat grinder from the power outlet, disassemble it, and clean it.
