The LUMME LU-3634 is an induction electric stove designed for efficient and safe cooking. It features multiple cooking modes and a user-friendly control panel.

Appliance Description: The induction stove is a sleek, black, rectangular appliance with a smooth ceramic glass cooking surface. The control panel is located on the front of the appliance, below the cooking surface. It features a digital display showing time or temperature, several touch-sensitive buttons with icons and labels for different cooking modes (CEREALS, STEW, BOIL, SLOW STEW, MULTICOOK, CHEF, SOUP/BROTH, FRY), power adjustment buttons ([+] and [-]), a timer button ([Timer]), a mode selection button, and a power on/off button ([Power]). There is also a panel lock button ([Lock]). The appliance has ventilation grilles.

Safety Instructions

Please read and follow all safety instructions before using the appliance:

  • Read this manual carefully and save it for future reference.

  • Persons with pacemakers should maintain a distance of at least 60 cm from the operating stove.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, unless they have been given supervision or instruction by a responsible person.
  • Do not leave the appliance unattended while in operation.
  • Ensure the power cord does not touch sharp edges or hot surfaces.
  • Do not reel the power cord around the device housing.
  • Never attempt to disassemble or repair the appliance yourself. Contact a service center for any problems.
  • Using unrecommended accessories or replacement parts may damage the appliance.
  • Do not place the appliance on a metal surface.
  • Do not place magnetic items (credit cards, watches, radios, etc.) or any objects other than cookware on the cooking surface during operation.
  • Do not place any items between the cookware base and the appliance surface during operation.
  • The ceramic surface is fragile; handle with care. Avoid striking or pressing down on it. If cracks appear, unplug immediately and contact a service center. Damage from misuse is not covered by warranty.
  • Do not heat canned food on the stove as it may explode.
  • Do not place foil or other metallic objects on the surface to prevent overheating.

Before First Use

Follow these steps before using the appliance for the first time:

  • Unpack the appliance and remove all labels.
  • Wipe the appliance body and cooking surface with a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.

Operation

Follow these guidelines for operating the stove:

Placement

  • Place the electric stove on a flat, horizontal surface.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation by not blocking the appliance's ventilation openings.
  • Maintain a distance of at least 10 cm from walls.

Cookware Compatibility

WARNING: Cookware made of glass, ceramic, non-ferrous metals, or with aluminum or copper bottoms (including multi-layered metal cookware) is NOT SUITABLE for induction stoves. Any cookware with a bottom diameter less than 12 cm is also NOT SUITABLE. If no pot or an unsuitable pot is detected, the appliance will display error E0 and enter standby mode. This is not a malfunction.

For correct operation, use cookware with a ferromagnetic bottom (it should attract a magnet). Clay, glass, or aluminum cookware is not suitable. Avoid pots with curved (convex/parabolic) bases. The recommended bottom diameter is from 12 cm to 22 cm.

Cooking Modes

To select a cooking mode, press the mode selection button (14). The programs will cycle, and an indicator light will illuminate under the selected mode. The appliance has 8 automatic cooking programs. For modes like 'Multicook', 'Fry', and 'Chef', you can manually adjust the temperature/power using the [+] and [-] buttons.

Timer and Delayed Start

Timer: For 'Fry', 'Multicook', and 'Chef' modes, you can set a timer (up to 3 hours). The appliance will operate for the set duration and then return to standby. Press the power button (12) to turn on, select a mode, then press the timer button (13) and use the [+] / [-] buttons to set the time.

Delayed Start: For 'Cereals', 'Stew', 'Boil', 'Slow Stew', and 'Soup/Broth' modes, you can set a delayed start (up to 24 hours). The appliance will start automatically after the set time. Press the power button (12) to turn on, select a mode, then press the timer button (13) and use the [+] / [-] buttons to set the delayed start time.

Panel Lock

To prevent accidental changes, you can lock the control panel by pressing the lock button (15). Press the same button again to unlock.

Error Messages

The appliance may display error codes on the screen. Refer to the table below for troubleshooting:

E7Surface overheat.All water in the dish has evaporated, overheating the pot bottom and stove surface. Allow the surface and pot to cool down before resuming use, or contact a service center.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity of your appliance:

  • Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild washing-up liquid.
  • Do not use abrasive detergents, organic solvents, or aggressive chemicals on the appliance or cooking surface.
  • For the ceramic cooking surface, use specialized cleaning agents for glass-ceramic stovetops.

Storage and Transport

Ensure the appliance is unplugged and fully cooled before storing or transporting. Store in a dry place at room temperature with humidity not exceeding 80%. Ensure packaging is secure during transport.
