LEXIN LX-FT4 Motorcycle 4-Way Bluetooth Conference Intercom
User Guide
1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the LX-FT4 Motorcycle 4-Way Bluetooth Conference Intercom. This product offers a 2,000 meters (1.2 miles) bike-to-bike full-duplex intercom range, includes Bluetooth stereo wireless helmet headset(s), and is designed for installation into most open face, modular, and full-face style helmets.
With the LX-FT4, you can make hands-free calls on your Bluetooth mobile phone, listen to music or GPS navigation voice instructions, and activate wireless intercom for rider-to-rider or rider-to-passenger communication within a 2,000 meters (1.2 miles) range (for up to four units).
The LX-FT4 complies with Bluetooth Specification V4.0, supporting Headset Profile (HSP), Hands-Free Profile (HFP), and Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). It offers universal pairing with most Bluetooth headsets. Users can activate Siri or S-Voice for voice dialing and commands. An integrated FM radio tuner allows for station scanning.
Superior audio fidelity is delivered through high-fidelity, non-ported, ultra-slim helmet HD speakers. The headset also provides excellent wind and ambient noise reduction with its miniature boom microphone.
The main unit is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion/polymer battery, providing 10-15 hours of active use on a full charge, with over a week of standby time. Please read this User Manual carefully before using the product.

3. Installation Instructions
3.1 Helmet Mounting Bracket
Step 1: Mount the bracket between the internal padding and external shell of the helmet. Tighten the two screws between the bracket and clamp plate using the allen wrench.
Note: Adjust the rubber pad thickness between the clamp plates based on your helmet's size and shape. Extra rubber pads are included in the box for thickness adjustment.
Step 2 (Alternative Mounting): If you encounter issues with the bracket mounting, you can use the included 3M tape. Remove the rubber pad from the bracket, peel off the protective backing of the 3M tape. The white side adheres to the bracket, and the red side adheres to the helmet. Press firmly for 15 seconds and allow 24 hours for the glue to dry.
Note: While 3M tape mounting is convenient, LEXIN recommends the bracket mounting. 3M tape mounting is an option provided at the user's own risk.
3.2 Microphone Installation
For full face helmets, locate an area in the nose section just left of center. Attach the button microphone to the velcro pad and connect it to the headset connector.
For open face helmets, attach the microphone to the velcro pad. Adjust the microphone's direction so the triangular mark points towards your mouth. Use the boom microphone holder if necessary.
3.3 Speaker Installation
Place the speakers into the helmet's inner padding, pushing them and the microphone firmly against the Velcro pads. If the helmet has deep ear pockets, use the speaker pads to position the speakers closer to your ears.
3.4 Wire Management
Press the wires into the gap between the helmet liner and shell.
Note: The speaker with the shorter wire is for the left ear, and the speaker with the longer wire is for the right ear, which also helps enhance FM radio reception.
3.5 Mounting the Main Unit
Mount the LX-FT4 main unit onto the bracket. Attach the top portion first, then slide the main unit down until it clicks firmly into the bottom of the bracket.
3.6 Removing the Main Unit
To remove the main unit, press the top part of the bracket and detach it.
