Assembly may be easier with a set of wrenches. Do not use power tools to avoid damaging parts.
Step 1: Register Product
Go to www.iconsupport.eu on your computer and register your product. This activates your warranty, saves time when contacting Customer Service, and allows notification of upgrades and offers. If you do not have internet access, call Customer Service (see front cover).
Step 2: Attach Front Stabilizer
If a shipping bracket is on the front of the Frame (1), remove its screws and discard the bracket and screws. With help from a second person, place packing materials under the front of the Frame (1). Attach the Front Stabilizer (2) to the Frame (1) using two M10 x 96mm Screws (110). Start both screws, then tighten them. Remove packing materials from under the Frame (1).
Step 3: Attach Rear Stabilizer
If a shipping bracket is on the rear of the Frame (1), remove its screws and discard the bracket and screws. With help from a second person, place packing materials under the rear of the Frame (1). With a second person holding the Console Bracket (82) assembly, route the Main Wire (41) through the Upright (4), Upright Bracket (84), and into the Console Bracket. Insert the Upright Bracket (84) into the Upright (4). Attach the Upright Bracket (84) with two M8 x 50mm Bolts (49) and two M8 Locknuts (102). Start both bolts, then tighten them, ensuring locknuts are in the hexagonal holes.
Step 8: Attach Handlebars
Identify the Right Handlebar (81). Attach it to the right side of the Console Bracket (82) with three M8 x 13mm Screws (94). Start all screws, then tighten them. Route the Right Pulse Wire (8) through the Console Bracket (82). Repeat this step for the Left Handlebar (6).
Step 9: Connect Console Wires and Attach Console
With a second person holding the Console (5), plug the Main Wire (41) and Pulse Wires (7, 8) into the receptacles on the Console. Ensure connectors slide easily and snap into place; improper connection may damage the console. Insert excess wire into the Console Bracket (82). Attach the Console (5) to the Console Bracket (82) with four M4 x 15mm Screws (63). Start all screws, then tighten them.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and reduces wear. Inspect and tighten all parts each time the bike is used. Replace worn parts immediately.
To clean, use a damp cloth and mild soap. IMPORTANT: Keep liquids away from the console and avoid direct sunlight to prevent damage.
Console Troubleshooting
- Heart Rate Not Displaying: See step 5 on page 17.
- Lines in Display: See HOW TO CHANGE CONSOLE SETTINGS on page 23 and adjust contrast.
- Replacement Power Adapter: Call the number on the cover. IMPORTANT: Use only a manufacturer-supplied regulated power adapter.
How to Adjust the Drive Belt
If pedals slip even at highest resistance, the drive belt may need adjustment. Unplug the power adapter before adjusting.
With a second person, place sturdy packing materials under the frame to lift the front off the floor. Have the second person hold the bike to prevent tipping. Tighten the M8 Hex Nut (113) slightly to adjust the drive belt. Remove packing material and plug in the power adapter. Repeat if necessary until pedals no longer slip.
How to Adjust the Reed Switch
If the console does not display correct feedback, adjust the reed switch. Unplug the power adapter first.
Using a small screwdriver, carefully pry off the left Crank Cover (25) from the left Shield Cover (24). Remove the two M5 x 20mm Screws (not shown). Rotate the left Shield Cover out of the way.
Locate the Reed Switch (35). Rotate the Left Crank Arm (100) until a Magnet (39) aligns with the Reed Switch. Loosen the clamp screw (A), slide the Reed Switch slightly toward or away from the magnet, and retighten the clamp screw.
Plug in the power adapter and rotate the Left Crank Arm (100). Repeat until the console displays correct feedback. Reattach removed parts.
Exercise Guidelines
❗ WARNING: Before beginning this or any exercise program, consult your physician. This is especially important for persons over age 35 or persons with pre-existing health problems.
The heart rate monitor is not a medical device. It is intended as an exercise aid for determining heart rate trends. Proper nutrition and rest are essential for results.
Exercise Intensity
Use heart rate as a guide to find proper intensity for fat burning or cardiovascular strengthening. The chart shows recommended heart rates for fat burning and aerobic exercise based on age.
Training Zone: The three numbers above your age in the chart define your training zone: lowest for fat burning, middle for maximum fat burning, highest for aerobic exercise.
Burning Fat: Exercise at low intensity for sustained periods. Body uses carbs first, then fat. Adjust intensity until heart rate is near the lowest number in your training zone, or middle for maximum fat burning.
Aerobic Exercise: For cardiovascular strengthening, perform activity requiring large amounts of oxygen. Adjust intensity until heart rate is near the highest number in your training zone.
Workout Guidelines
- Warming Up: Start with 5-10 minutes of stretching and light exercise to increase body temperature, heart rate, and circulation.
- Training Zone Exercise: Exercise for 20-30 minutes in your training zone. For the first few weeks, limit training zone time to 20 minutes. Breathe regularly and deeply; do not hold your breath.
- Cooling Down: Finish with 5-10 minutes of stretching to increase flexibility and prevent post-exercise problems.
Exercise Frequency
Complete three workouts per week with at least one rest day between. After a few months, up to five workouts per week if desired. Make exercise a regular, enjoyable part of your life.
Suggested Stretches
Move slowly during stretches; never bounce.
- Toe Touch Stretch: Stand with knees bent, bend forward from hips, relax back and shoulders. Reach toward toes. Hold for 15 counts, relax. Repeat 3 times. Stretches: Hamstrings, back of knees, back.
- Hamstring Stretch: Sit with one leg extended. Bring opposite foot sole to inner thigh of extended leg. Reach toward toes. Hold for 15 counts, relax. Repeat 3 times per leg. Stretches: Hamstrings, lower back, groin.
- Calf/Achilles Stretch: One leg forward, hands against a wall. Keep back leg straight, back foot flat. Bend front leg, lean forward, hips toward wall. Hold for 15 counts, relax. Repeat 3 times per leg. To stretch Achilles tendons further, bend back leg. Stretches: Calves, Achilles tendons, ankles.
- Quadriceps Stretch: With one hand on a wall for balance, grasp one foot with the other hand. Bring heel close to buttocks. Hold for 15 counts, relax. Repeat 3 times per leg. Stretches: Quadriceps, hip muscles.
- Inner Thigh Stretch: Sit with soles of feet together, knees outward. Pull feet toward groin. Hold for 15 counts, relax. Repeat 3 times. Stretches: Quadriceps, hip muscles.
