- A blue LED will start flashing when recording has started. When the blue LED is solid, the Dash Cam is in standby mode.

Maintenance
Maintaining the Battery:
To prolong battery life, charge the Dash Cam on a 5-volt home charger for 2-3 hours at least once a week with the unit turned off. If the car is not used daily, or for cars used for less than 1 hour daily, charge the Dash Cam once every 3 weeks for 2-3 hours. It is not recommended to power the Dash Cam solely by its battery, as it only runs for 10-15 minutes. Always use the provided charger. The internal battery is for backing up time/date and saving data.
Formatting Card:
It is advisable to format the Micro SD card weekly, especially if the G-sensor is active, as locked footage can fill the card and stop recording. Formatting the card is prompted each time the Micro SD card is removed and re-inserted. The Dash Cam will not record until formatted.
Resetting Dash Cam:
Insert a fine-point paper clip into the reset hole on the side of the unit.
