Please Read Before First Use
This system is designed for simple DIY installation and can be installed into any vehicle with a 12V electrical system by plugging into the vehicle's accessory sockets.
The Head Up Display (HUD) uses GPS signals to calculate the vehicle speed. Therefore, it WILL NOT WORK inside buildings, underground car parks, or tunnels where a GPS signal is unavailable. Please select a suitable location on your dashboard for installation that offers a CLEAR LINE OF SIGHT to open sky in front and slightly above the unit's location (e.g., on a dashboard with a sloping windscreen).
When the HUD does not have a satellite signal fix, the LED signal indicator will flash, and the HUD will display "0".
Note: If changing the wheels and/or tyres that alter the vehicle rolling diameter, the speedometer may not accurately match the HUD GPS data.
Disclaimer: THIS PRODUCT INCLUDING RELATED SPEED READINGS IS INTENDED AS A REFERENCE TOOL ONLY, AND MUST NOT BE USED AS THE PRIMARY MEANS OF OPERATING A VEHICLE OR OTHER FORMS OF TRANSPORTATION. THE PRODUCT MANUFACTURER AND RETAILER ACCEPTS NO LIABILITY FOR ANY SPEEDING FINE, PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OR OPERATION OF THIS PRODUCT.
Using GPS Data
Upon first use, this HUD will take up to 5 minutes to locate and lock onto its required satellite signals, or after any extended period of not using (approximately longer than a week). If used frequently, the HUD will only take up to 30 seconds to acquire operational signals.
GPS signals fluctuate in strength. As this device operates, it maintains connection to only the strongest signals available and may momentarily drop a weakening signal in favour of a stronger one. These changes happen automatically as controlled by the unit's processor.
This may affect the displayed speed by not being 100% accurate or taking slightly longer to display current speed. Situations that may affect the accuracy of this HUD include:
- Cloudy and overcast conditions
- Heavy rain / snow
- Driving amongst high-rise buildings / dense city areas
- Operating HUD within areas of strong electrical interference (such as telecommunication towers / airports etc).
As a result of these fluctuations in GPS signal and strength, this unit may display current speed at a slightly delayed rate (around 2 to 5 seconds) compared to your vehicle speedometer. This delay will be exacerbated during heavy acceleration or deceleration.

Setup and Operation Instructions
Ensure the dashboard surface and the inside of the windscreen are clean and free from any residue before installation. This includes plastic and upholstery "protectants", as these may react with the supplied sticky pad. PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY CLEANING CHEMICALS ON THE HUD UNIT. If cleaning is required, use a soft microfiber style cloth to wipe clean.
Place the anti-slip mounting pad on the clean section of your dashboard, ensuring the dimples are facing upwards.
Ensure the cable is routed safely so there are no obstructions to operating the vehicle. Plug the unit into the accessory socket and press the power on button, ensuring the vehicle is outside and not under cover.
Stick the transparent film onto a suitable position on the windscreen so the HUD image is projected onto this film, enabling a clear forward view of the speed display from the driver's seat position. The transparent film serves two purposes: reflecting a sharp, white LED image that isn't affected by the windscreen lamination, and preventing the white LED light from shining forward through your windscreen. For best results, please ensure the transparent film is installed prior to operating the vehicle.
Setting the HUD
- Connect the HUD unit with power supply, switch it on. It will show a start-up screen.
- Push the selection dial [OK button] for 2 seconds to enter the setting screen. Scroll left or right to change the setting, and push the OK button to select the setting. Push the OK button again to save the setting. The HUD will go back to speed display mode after 6 seconds.
Available Settings:
- F-1 Buzzer: (Default is open) If the HUD detects speed over the default, the buzzer will sound. Options: 1. Open [enable buzzer], 2. Close [disable buzzer].
- F-2 Speed Alert: (Default speed is 120 KM/H) Scroll left/right to decrease/increase the speed. Range: 10-180 KM/H.
- F-4 Speed Calibration: (Default value is 100%) If the HUD unit speed does not match the car speedometer, scroll left or right to adjust. Adjusting 1 KM/H = 1% on HUD.
