This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your JURA Glass Cup Warmer.
1 Control Elements
The JURA Glass Cup Warmer features several key components:
- 1 Glass Cup Warmer: The main appliance unit.
- 2 Detachable power cord (rear of the appliance): The cord used to connect the appliance to the electrical mains.
- 3 Power switch (with red indicator light): Located on the top of the appliance, this switch turns the unit on and off. The red light indicates the unit is active.
- 4 Cup tray: The shelves within the unit where cups are placed for warming.
- 5 Optional feet for the GIGA line: Specialized feet available for compatibility with JURA GIGA coffee machines.
2 For Your Safety
Read and observe these instructions for use in their entirety before operating the appliance. Keep these instructions near the appliance and pass them on to any future users. Failure to comply with these instructions can lead to serious injury and material damage. Safety regulations are marked as follows:

The cup warmer is intended for use only by trained individuals. Untrained persons should be supervised during operation.
Intended Use
This appliance is designed for use by specialized or adequately qualified personnel in settings such as restaurants, canteens, hospitals, and commercial businesses (e.g., bakeries, butcher shops). It can also be used commercially by untrained persons. The appliance must not be installed in areas accessible to the public. Its purpose is to heat cups on the provided warming trays. Any other use is considered non-compliant. JURA disclaims all liability for consequences arising from improper use.
Safety Regulations
It is recommended to read and strictly adhere to the following safety regulations to prevent the risk of electric shock:
- Never operate a damaged appliance or one with a defective power cord.
- Never operate the appliance with wet hands.
- Before operation, ensure the power cord is dry.
- Connect the appliance to the mains exclusively using the supplied power cord.
- If damage is suspected (e.g., a burning smell), immediately disconnect the appliance from the mains and contact JURA service.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be repaired by JURA or an authorized JURA service center.
- Ensure the cup warmer and power cord are kept away from hot surfaces or open flames.
- Prevent the power cord from being crushed or worn by sharp edges.
- Never open or attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Modifications are only permitted if described in these instructions. The appliance contains live components; all repairs must be performed by authorized JURA service centers using original spare parts and accessories.
- A damaged appliance is unsafe and can cause injury or fire. To prevent damage, injury, and fire hazards:
- Never let the power cord hang freely, as it can be a tripping hazard or become damaged.
- Protect the cup warmer from weather conditions like rain, frost, and direct sunlight.
- Never immerse the cup warmer, cords, or fittings in water.
- Do not place the cup warmer or its components in a dishwasher.
- Before cleaning, always switch off the cup warmer and unplug it. Clean with a damp, not wet, cloth, and protect from continuous water splashes.
- The appliance is not suitable for placement where it could be exposed to water jets.
- Cleaning with a water jet or steam is prohibited.
- Connect the appliance only to a mains voltage matching the rating plate. The rating plate is located on the underside of the cup warmer. Further technical data is provided in Chapter 7.
- In case of prolonged absence, switch off the appliance.
Always use the appliance under supervision. Persons, including children, who are unable to use the appliance safely due to their physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or due to inexperience or lack of knowledge, must not use the appliance without the assistance or supervision of a responsible person.
3 Placement and Connection
Take the following precautions when placing the cup warmer:
- Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal surface.
- Position the cup warmer to protect it from overheating. Ensure adequate space between the cup warmer and the coffee machine to prevent heat build-up.
- For hygienic reasons, clean the appliance externally and internally with a damp cloth before initial operation.

- Never operate a damaged appliance or one with a defective power cord.
- Connect the power cord to the cup warmer.
- Insert the plug into a mains socket.
Optional Feet Replacement for GIGA Line
The diagram illustrates how to replace the standard feet of the Glass Cup Warmer with optional feet designed for the JURA GIGA line. It shows a hex key (Allen wrench) being used to unscrew the existing feet from the base of the appliance and install the new ones.
4 Heating the Cups
❗ ATTENTION: Risk of burns. The cup trays can become hot during operation.
- Do not touch the cup trays.
- For optimal heating of all cups, avoid stacking them on the upper cup tray.
- Place the desired cups on the cup trays.
- Switch on the cup warmer by pressing the power switch (3) on the top of the appliance. The red indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the appliance is heating the cups.
- To stop heating, press the power switch again. The red indicator light will turn off.
5 Cleaning and Maintenance
- For cleaning, do not use corrosive or abrasive detergents, nor hard objects that could damage the cup warmer.
- Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the mains socket.
- Clean the appliance and cup trays using a damp cloth.
6 Transport and Disposal in Accordance with Environmental Regulations
Keep the original packaging for protection during transport. Clean the cup warmer before transporting it.
Dispose of used appliances in compliance with environmental regulations. Used appliances contain valuable recyclable materials that must be sent for recycling. Therefore, dispose of used appliances through appropriate collection systems.
