The cup warmer must only be operated by instructed persons. Untrained individuals must be supervised during use.
Intended Use
This appliance is intended for use by specialist or trained personnel in restaurants, canteens, hospitals, and commercial establishments such as bakeries and butcher shops, or for commercial use by laypersons. The appliance must not be placed in publicly accessible areas. The cup warmer is designed to warm cups on the heated shelves. Any other use is considered improper. JURA accepts no liability for consequences arising from improper use.
Electrical Safety Precautions
Carefully read and follow these important safety instructions to avoid the risk of electric shock:
- Never operate a damaged appliance or one with a damaged mains cable.
- Never operate the appliance with wet hands.
- Before commissioning, ensure the mains cable is dry.
- Connect the appliance only with the supplied mains cable to the AC power network.
- If you notice damage, such as a burning smell, immediately disconnect the appliance from the mains and contact JURA Service.
- If the mains cable of this appliance is damaged, it must be repaired directly by JURA or an authorized JURA service point.
- Ensure the cup warmer and mains cable are not near hot surfaces or open flames.
- Ensure the mains cable is not pinched or chafing against sharp edges.
- Never open or repair the appliance yourself. Do not make any modifications not described in the manual. The appliance contains live parts. Repairs must only be carried out by authorized JURA service points using original spare and accessory parts.
General Safety Precautions
A damaged appliance is unsafe and can cause injuries and fire. To avoid damage and potential injury or fire hazards:
- Never let the mains cable hang loosely. It can become a tripping hazard or be damaged.
- Protect the cup warmer from weather influences such as rain, frost, and direct sunlight.
- Do not immerse the cup warmer, cables, or connections in water.
- Do not place the cup warmer or its individual parts in the dishwasher.
- Switch off the cup warmer and unplug it before cleaning.
- Wipe the cup warmer with a damp cloth, never wet, and protect it from constant splashing water.
- The appliance is not suitable for installation on a surface where a water jet can be applied.
- The appliance must not be cleaned with a water jet or steam cleaner.
Connect the appliance only to the mains voltage indicated on the type label, located on the underside of your cup warmer. Further technical data is provided in Chapter 7 "Technical Data".
- Switch off the appliance during extended absences.
- Operate the appliance only under supervision.
Persons, including children, who due to their physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, are unable to operate the appliance safely, must not use it without supervision or instruction from a responsible person.
3. Setup and Connection
When setting up your cup warmer, observe the following points:
- Place the appliance on a stable, level surface.
- Choose a location for the cup warmer that protects it from overheating. Ensure there is space between the cup warmer and the coffee machine to prevent heat buildup.
For hygienic reasons, clean the new appliance inside and out with a damp cloth before putting it into operation.

- Never operate a damaged appliance or one with a damaged mains cable.
- Connect the mains cable to the cup warmer.
- Plug the mains plug into a power socket.

4. Warming Cups
❗ CAUTION: Risk of burns. The cup trays can become hot during operation.
- Do not touch the cup trays.
ℹ️ For optimal cup warming, it is recommended not to stack cups on the upper tray.
- Place the desired cups on the cup trays.
Switch on the cup warmer using the power switch (3) on the top of the appliance. The red indicator light illuminates. The appliance begins to warm the cups.
ℹ️ To end the heating process, switch off the appliance using the power switch (3) on the top of the appliance. The red indicator light will go out.
5. Cleaning and Care
ℹ️ Do not use sharp, abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects for cleaning, as this can damage the cup warmer.
- Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the power socket.
- Clean the appliance and the cup trays with a damp cloth.
6. Transport and Environmentally Friendly Disposal
Keep the packaging of the cup warmer. It serves to protect the appliance during transport. Clean the cup warmer before transport.
Please dispose of old appliances in an environmentally friendly manner. Old appliances contain valuable recyclable materials that should be recovered. Therefore, dispose of old appliances via suitable collection systems.
