Instructions for Use
This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation of the JURA Glass Cup Warmer.
1. Controls
The JURA Glass Cup Warmer features the following main components:
- Glass Cup Warmer: The main unit designed for heating cups.
- Plug-in Power Cord: Located at the rear of the appliance for connecting to the power supply.
- Main Switch: Situated on the top of the appliance, indicated by a red control light when active.
- Cup Compartment: The areas where cups are placed for warming.
- Optional Feet for GIGA-line: Replaceable feet for specific JURA GIGA models.

Observe Instructions for Use
Read this entire manual before using the appliance and follow all instructions. Keep the manual near the appliance and pass it on to future users. Failure to comply can lead to serious injury or material damage. Safety instructions are marked as follows:
- WARNING: Indicates situations that could result in serious injury or danger to life.
- CAUTION: Indicates situations that could result in minor injury.
- CAUTION: Indicates situations that could result in material damage.
The cup warmer should only be operated by instructed persons. Untrained individuals must be supervised during use.
Proper Use
This appliance is intended for use by specialized or trained personnel in restaurants, canteens, hospitals, and commercial establishments such as bakeries and butcher shops, or for commercial use by laypeople. It must not be placed in publicly accessible areas. The cup warmer is designed to heat cups on its warming surfaces. Any other use is considered improper. JURA is not liable for consequences arising from improper use.
Electrical Safety
To prevent the risk of electric shock, carefully read and follow these safety instructions:
- Never use a damaged appliance or one with a damaged power cord.
- Never operate the appliance with wet hands.
- Before commissioning, ensure the power cord is dry.
- Connect the appliance to the mains only with the supplied power cord.
- If there are signs of damage, such as a burning smell, immediately unplug the appliance and contact JURA service.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be repaired directly by JURA or an authorized JURA service center.
- Ensure the cup warmer and its cord are not near hot surfaces or open flames.
- Prevent the power cord from being pinched or rubbing against sharp edges.
- Never open or repair the appliance yourself. Do not make modifications not described in the manual, as the appliance contains live parts. Repairs must only be carried out by authorized JURA service centers using original parts and accessories.
A damaged appliance is unsafe and can cause injury and fire. To prevent damage and potential hazards:
- Never let the power cord hang down loosely, as it can become a tripping hazard or get damaged.
- Protect the cup warmer from weather influences such as rain, frost, and direct sunlight.
- Never immerse the cup warmer, cables, or connections in water.
- Do not place the cup warmer or its individual parts in a dishwasher.
- Switch off the cup warmer before cleaning and unplug it from the socket. Always wipe the cup warmer with a damp cloth, never wet, and protect it from constant splashing water.
- The appliance is not suitable for placement on a work surface where a water jet can be used.
- Do not clean the appliance with a water jet or steam cleaner.
- Connect the appliance to the mains voltage only as indicated on the rating plate, located on the underside of the cup warmer.

- Switch off the appliance if you will not be using it for an extended period.
- Use the appliance only under supervision.
Persons, including children, who due to their physical, sensory, or intellectual abilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, are unable to use the appliance safely, must not use it without supervision or instruction from a responsible person.
3. Setup and Connection
When setting up your cup warmer, observe the following points:
- Place the appliance on a stable and horizontal surface.
- Choose a location for the cup warmer that protects it from overheating. Ensure adequate distance between the cup warmer and the coffee machine to prevent heat build-up.
- Before putting the new appliance into operation, clean it inside and out with a damp cloth for hygienic reasons.
WARNING: Danger to life from electric shock if used with a defective power cord.
- Never use a damaged appliance or one with a damaged power cord.
Connection:
- Connect the power cord to the cup warmer.
- Plug the power plug into a socket.

4. Heating Cups
CAUTION: Risk of burns. The cup compartments can become hot during operation. Do not touch the cup compartments.
For optimal cup warming, it is recommended not to stack cups on the top compartment.
- Place the desired cups in the cup compartments.
- Switch on the cup warmer using the main switch (3) on the top of the appliance. The red control light will illuminate, and the appliance will begin heating the cups.
To end the warming process, switch off the appliance using the main switch on the top. The red control light will then turn off.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Recommendation: Do not use sharp, abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects, as this can damage the cup warmer.
- Unplug the appliance from the socket before any cleaning.
- Clean the appliance and the cup compartments with a damp cloth.
6. Transport and Environmentally Friendly Disposal
Keep the packaging of the cup warmer. It serves for protection during transport. Clean the cup warmer before transport.
Dispose of old appliances in an environmentally friendly manner. Old appliances contain valuable, recyclable materials that must be recycled. Therefore, dispose of old appliances at designated collection points.
