Device Overview
Front View: Features a microphone, speaker grille, LED indicator, Power/Pairing button, Volume controls (+/-), and Hands-free Calling Answer/End button.
Side/Back View: Includes a Main Power Switch (ON/OFF), 3.5mm Audio In Port, Mini USB Charging Input, and Skip/Scan Forward/Back button.
Compatibility
Wireless:
Devices with Bluetooth 2.0 or above, including Blackberry, Bluetooth-equipped PCs, and most Bluetooth-equipped smartphones or computers.
Wired:
Devices with a standard 3.5 mm headphone output port via a 3.5 mm minijack cable (not included).
WARNING
- Do not become distracted by this product while driving.
- Do not leave the product exposed to a heat source or high temperatures.
- Do not remove or attempt to remove the non-user-replaceable battery. Dispose of the product at a waste electronics service.
- A loose object in a moving vehicle could become a deadly projectile in the event of a collision.
LED Indicator
The LED light on the front indicates the following:
- LED Off: Power OFF
- BLUE: Power ON
- Flashing BLUE/RED: Pairing mode
- RED: Low Battery Level
- Flashing RED: Battery almost drained
- Flashing BLUE: Battery is recharging
Set-up and Pairing via Bluetooth
Note: Pairing may vary by device. Consult your device's owner's manual.
Putting ClarityHD Precision Micro Bluetooth Speaker Into Pairing Mode
- Turn the main power switch to the “ON” position.
- Press and hold the [Power/Pairing Button] on the right side until the light blinks red and blue.
Note: Pairing mode lasts for 3 minutes. If not completed, turn the power off and on again.
Pairing with Bluetooth Equipped Blackberry
- Put speaker into pairing mode.
- On Blackberry, go to Menu > Manage Connections > Bluetooth > Search.
- Select "ClarityHD".
- Enter passcode 0000.
Pairing with Bluetooth Equipped PC (Windows 7)
- Put speaker into pairing mode.
- On PC, click Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Add a device.
- Select "ClarityHD" and click Next.
- Follow Windows 7 prompts; passcode is 0000.
Note: Ensure PC audio output and mic input are set to ClarityHD.
Note for Mac users: Consult your owner's manual for pairing instructions.
Note on Audio Delay: For video playback, a 3.5 mm minijack cable offers optimal performance to avoid audio sync issues.
Battery Saving: Always switch the speaker to the “OFF” position when not in use.
Reconnection in Event of Bluetooth Disconnection
If disconnected, re-connect by:
- Short pressing the power/phone button.
- Select "ClarityHD" from your device.
Note: The speaker will auto-connect with compatible devices after initial pairing.
Taking Calls and Controlling Music
Taking Calls on a Blackberry Connected to ClarityHD Precision Micro Bluetooth Speaker
When an incoming call is received, music pauses automatically.
- To accept a call: Use Blackberry controls or press the [Answer/End Button] ?. Speak normally.
- To end a call: Use Blackberry controls or press the [End Call Button] ?.
- To reject a call: Use Blackberry controls or press and hold the [Reject Call Button] ? (hold).
- To use call waiting: Use Blackberry controls or press and release the [Call Waiting Button] ?? twice to put the first call on hold and answer the incoming call. Repeat to switch back.
Controlling Music Playback
Use the speaker buttons to control playback from your Blackberry or Bluetooth PC/phone (requires AVRCP support).
- Play/Pause: Push and release the [Play/Pause Button].
- Skip Track: Push and release the [Next Track Button] ►►ı for next track, or the [Previous Track Button] ◄◄ for previous track.
- Volume Control: Push the [Volume Up Button] (+) for volume up, and the [Volume Down Button] (-) for volume down.
Note: Pressing the [Call Button] ? on a Blackberry may start playback of the first track in your music library (disabled during incoming calls).
Connecting to a Device Via 3.5 mm "AUDIO IN" Input
Use with any device having a 3.5 mm headphone port. A 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm minijack cable is required (not included).
Plug one end into your device's headphone port and the other into the "AUDIO IN" port on the speaker.
Controlling Volume When Connected Via 3.5 mm "AUDIO IN" Input:
Volume cannot be controlled by the speaker. Use the volume control on your connected device.
Recharging Battery
Ensure the power switch is "ON". Plug the Mini USB end of the included cable into the "USB Charging" port on the speaker. Plug the other end into a USB port on a computer or charging device.
The LED light will flash BLUE while charging and stop flashing when fully charged. Charge time is approximately 3 hours from empty.
Note: Always switch the speaker to "OFF" when not in use to save battery charge.

LIMITED WARRANTY FOR CONSUMERS
Monster, LLC extends this Limited Warranty. Statutory or common law may provide additional rights.
Definitions
- Adequate Use: Use within a home, for private purposes, in conformance with laws and manufacturer instructions.
- Authorized Dealer: A distributor, reseller, or retailer duly authorized and permitted to sell the Product new and in original packaging.
- Formal Warranty Claim: A claim made according to the "Formal Warranty Claims" section.
- Product: The specific model purchased new from an Authorized Dealer with its serial number intact.
- Product Defect: An inadequacy existing at the time of receipt that causes failure to perform as documented, unless caused by misuse, alteration, accident, unauthorized service, environmental factors, or acts of God.
- Warranty Period: The time during which Monster must receive a Formal Warranty Claim. Commences on the date of purchase or receipt (or 3 months after leaving factory if proof is unavailable). Ends after the specified period or upon transfer of ownership. A Return Authorization Number must be obtained within 2 months of discovering a defect.
- You: The first individual person who purchased the Product new from an Authorized Dealer. This warranty does not apply to used, unpackaged, resold, leased, or commercially used products, or those bought from unauthorized sellers.
SCOPE OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY
If a Product contained a defect at the time of purchase and a Formal Warranty Claim is received within the specified timeframe, Monster will, at its discretion, repair or replace the Product, or refund the purchase price if repair/replacement is not commercially practicable or timely. Monster is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
CHOICE OF LAW/JURISDICTION
Governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. California courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
OTHER RIGHTS
This warranty grants specific legal rights that may vary by jurisdiction. It is non-transferable. If any provision is unenforceable, it shall be severable.

Register your Product at www.monstercable.com/register. Failure to register does not diminish warranty rights.

HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
In case of damage, follow these steps:
- Call Monster within 2 months of discovering a defect.
- Provide a detailed explanation of the damage.
- Obtain a Return Authorization Number.
- Fill out the claim form entirely.
- Return the Products, shipping prepaid, with sales receipts, proof of purchase, completed claim form, and Return Authorization Number on the package.
