Your guide to operating and understanding the Monster DNA MAX portable Bluetooth speaker.

Speaker Function Operation

Buttons and Controls

[Power Button]: Press once: answer/end call, play/pause. Press and hold for 2s: power on/off, call reject.
[Volume Up/Next Track Button]: Press once: volume up. Press and hold for 2s: next track.
[Volume Down/Previous Track Button]: Press once: volume down. Press and hold for 2s: previous track.
[Monster Share™ Party Mode Button]: Press and hold 2s: set as transmitting speaker. Press once: set as receiving speaker. Connect up to 99 Monster DNA Speakers.
[Bluetooth Pairing Button]: Press and hold for 2s: Bluetooth pairing.

Ports and Indicators

[USB-C Charging Port]: For charging the speaker.
[Battery Level Indication]: Press and hold "-" and "+" buttons for 1s to check battery level.

Visual Description of Speaker Layout

The speaker features a cylindrical design with controls located on the top surface. The top panel includes the [LED Ring], [Power Button], [Volume Up/Next Track Button], [Volume Down/Previous Track Button], and [Monster Share™ Party Mode Button]. The side panel features the [Bluetooth Pairing Button] and the [USB-C Charging Port]. The included [Wireless Charging Base] has a [Charging Base LED Indicator] and connects to a power source.

Pairing Instructions

First-Time Pairing

Press and hold the [Power Button] for approximately 2 seconds to turn on the speaker.
The speaker automatically enters pairing mode, indicated by the [LED Ring] flashing blue in a clockwise motion.
Activate Bluetooth on your device and search for "Monster DNA MAX" speaker.
Upon successful connection, the [LED Ring] lights up blue for 3 seconds, then turns off.

Manual Pairing

After powering on, the speaker attempts to connect to the last connected device.
To pair a new device, press and hold the [Bluetooth Pairing Button] for 2 seconds. The [LED Ring] will flash blue clockwise.
Activate Bluetooth on your device and search for "Monster DNA MAX" speaker.
Short press the [Bluetooth Pairing Button] again to disconnect.

Modes and Charging

Bluetooth Mode Operations

Volume: Press [Volume +/- Button] once for volume up/down.
Track Control: Press and hold [Volume +/- Button] for 2 seconds for next/previous track.
Music Playback: Press [Power Button] once to start/pause music.
Call Management: Press [Power Button] once to answer or end a call. Press and hold [Power Button] for 2 seconds to reject an incoming call.

USB and Wireless Charging

USB-C Charging: Connect the included USB-C cable to the speaker's [USB-C Charging Port] and plug into a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter).
Wireless Charging: Connect the [Wireless Charging Base] to a wall adapter and place the speaker directly on it.
During charging, the [LED Ring] will 'breathe' with a white glow.
Once fully charged, the [LED Ring] displays a solid white light for 5 seconds before turning off.

Charging Out (Reverse Charging)

Connect your device (e.g., a smartphone) to the speaker's [Charging Port] to initiate charging automatically.

Monster Share™ Party Mode

Turn on all Monster DNA speakers intended for connection by pressing and holding the [Power Button] for 2 seconds.
Connect to one Monster DNA speaker via Bluetooth. Then, press and hold the [Monster Share™ Party Mode Button] for 2 seconds to designate it as the main transmitting speaker. A flashing purple light indicates Party Mode transmission is in pairing mode.
Single press the [Monster Share™ Party Mode Button] on all other speakers to set them as receiving speakers. A green light will flash in a circle during pairing and turn solid green once paired.
If speakers are not paired within 30 seconds, the 'Monster Share™ Party Mode' pairing will time out. Restart the process to connect additional speakers.
Press the [Monster Share™ Party Mode Button] again to exit Party Mode.

*Monster Share™ Party Mode is compatible with speakers enabled with Monster Share™ technology.

Auto Power Off

The speaker will automatically turn off after 15 minutes of inactivity (no connection or idling).

Charging: This Bluetooth device must be charged using the supplied charging unit only.

Battery Caution: The batteries in this product are not replaceable.
