Important Information
Battery
The battery installed at the factory may discharge during shipping and storage. If the display becomes faint, the battery needs replacement at an authorized CASIO service center or dealer.
Water Resistance
For all watch categories, avoid the following while underwater:
- Pressing buttons.
- Adjusting the crown.
- Unscrewing the crown.
If the watch is exposed to saltwater, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and dry it completely.
Do not wear watches with leather straps while swimming. Avoid prolonged contact of leather straps with water.
Care for Plastic Straps
A white powdery substance may appear on plastic straps. This is harmless and can be removed by wiping with a cloth. Sweat, moisture, or high humidity can damage, break, or crack plastic straps. Clean them with a soft cloth whenever possible.
Care for Fluorescent Cases and Straps
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture can cause fluorescent colors to fade. Wipe off any moisture as soon as possible. Contact with other wet surfaces can also cause discoloration.
Water Resistance Classification
Watches are classified by water resistance levels (I to V) according to ISO 2281. Check the table below for proper usage:
Rating | Marking | Splashes, Rain, Washing | Swimming, Snorkeling | Scuba Diving |
---|---|---|---|---|

Notes:
- Strong friction on fluorescent paint may transfer it to other surfaces.
- Condensation may form inside the glass due to rapid temperature changes. This is normal and not a defect.
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage arising from the use of these watches.
Watch Care
Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover yourself.
The gasket protecting against water and dust should be replaced every 2-3 years.
If moisture enters the watch, have it checked immediately by a CASIO dealer or distributor.
