For all watch types, do not:

  • Press buttons underwater.
  • Change time underwater.
  • Unscrew the crown underwater.

Care for Your Watch

Battery Replacement: The rubber gasket protecting the watch from water and dust should be replaced every 2-3 years.

Moisture Inside: If moisture enters the watch, have it checked immediately by a CASIO dealer.

Temperature: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (high or low).

Handling: Avoid rough handling and dropping the watch.

Strap Tightness: Do not fasten the strap too tightly. A finger should fit between your wrist and the strap.

Cleaning: Use a dry soft cloth or a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution. Never use volatile substances (e.g., gasoline, thinners, spray cleaners).

Storage: Store the watch in a dry place when not in use.

Chemicals: Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, spray aerosols, adhesives, paint, etc. Chemical reactions can damage gaskets, cases, and polish.

Silk-screened Straps: Be careful when cleaning straps with silk-screened designs to avoid damaging the patterns.

For Polymer Straps:

  • A white powdery substance may appear on the strap. This is harmless and can be wiped off with a soft cloth.
  • Sweat or moisture, or storage in high humidity can cause damage, tearing, or cracking. To ensure long strap life, wipe off dirt and moisture with a soft cloth frequently.

For Fluorescent Cases and Straps:

  • Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fluorescent colors to fade.
  • Prolonged contact with moisture can also cause fading. Wipe off any moisture promptly.
  • Rubbing fluorescent surfaces against other surfaces can transfer the fluorescent paint.
