- The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life, the entire luminaire must be replaced.
- Only use batteries that are intended for the product. Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different brands or types.
Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your STRÅLA lamp:
Step 1: Open Battery Compartment
Locate the base of the lamp. Lift the battery compartment cover upwards to open it.
Step 2: Release Cover
Press down on the latch within the battery compartment to release the cover, then remove it.
Step 3: Attach Pole to Base
Insert the lamp pole into the designated slot on the base. You should hear a 'click' when it is securely in place.

Step 4: Close Battery Compartment Cover
Align the battery compartment cover and press it down firmly until it clicks into place.

Step 5: Secure Cover
Ensure the battery compartment cover is fully closed and secure.
Step 6: Insert Batteries
Insert 3 x AA batteries into the compartment, paying close attention to the polarity (+/-) markings. Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different brands or types. Close the battery compartment cover.
Usage and Features
Timer Function
The lamp features an automatic timer. It switches off automatically after 6 hours and switches back on at the same time the following day. ? → ? → ? → ?
Power Connection
The lamp can be powered using a USB-C connection. Use a 5VDC Min 1A SELV power source, such as a laptop or a certified USB power adapter. ? / ?
Battery Information
- Batteries are sold separately.
- IKEA recommends using LADDA rechargeable batteries (2450 mAh, HR6 AA, 1.2V).
- 3 pieces are required.
