Hardware Description

The UMIDIGI A13 Pro Max features a modern design with accessible ports and buttons.

Front View

The front of the device is dominated by the large display. At the top center of the display, there is a cutout for the front camera. Above the screen, a narrow grille houses the receiver and the light/proximity sensor. The bottom edge of the phone features a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, alongside a speaker grille. The top edge includes a 3.5mm headphone jack ?.

Side Views

Left Side: Features a SIM/TF card slot ?️ and a customizable button.

Right Side: Equipped with volume up ? and volume down ?️ buttons, and a power button which also serves as the fingerprint scanner ?.

Back View

The rear of the smartphone showcases a prominent camera module. This module contains three lenses: a 48MP Main camera, a Macro lens, and a Super Wide Angle lens, accompanied by a Dual LED Flash. The UMIDIGI logo is printed vertically on the back, along with the text "BEYOND DREAMS".

SIM and Storage Card Management

The device supports dual SIM cards and a Micro-SD card for expandable storage.

Nano-SIM Card Insertion

Insert the Nano-SIM card with the chip side facing down, ensuring the cut edge aligns correctly with the slot. Use standard Nano-SIM cards; avoid hand-cut or non-standard cards to prevent damage.

TF Card Installation

Insert the Micro-SD card with the metal contacts facing down, aligning the cut edge. Place the card into the tray and slide it into the device.

Note: Turn off the phone before changing or replacing SIM/TF cards. The TF card is not included with the phone and must be purchased separately. Exercise caution when using the SIM tray ejector tool.

Dual-SIM Management

To manage SIM cards, navigate to Settings > SIM Card. You can select the primary SIM card for 4G network usage and choose your preferred network type (e.g., 4G/3G/2G) under Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network > Preferred network type.

SIM Card Tray Configurations:

• Tray Option 1: Supports 2 Nano SIM cards.
• Tray Option 2: Supports 1 Nano SIM card and 1 TF (Micro-SD) card.

Fingerprint Identification

You can unlock your phone using the fingerprint ID function. To set it up, go to Settings > Security & Location > Fingerprint and follow the on-screen instructions. Ensure your finger is clean and dry before registering or unlocking.

Network Connectivity

Connect to wireless networks and Bluetooth devices easily.

WLAN Connection

To connect to Wi-Fi, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. Select your desired network from the list, enter the password if required, and tap "Connect".

Bluetooth Function

Enable Bluetooth by going to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth. Tap "Refresh" to search for available devices, then select a device to pair with. Confirm pairing on both devices.

WLAN Hotspot Setting

You can share your phone's internet connection by setting up a WLAN Hotspot. Navigate to Settings > Network & Internet > Hotspot & tethering > WLAN Hotspot. Configure your hotspot name and password.

Camera

The camera application allows you to capture photos and videos. Aim the camera at your subject; the phone will focus automatically. Tap the "Capture" icon to take a photo. You can also switch between various modes like video recording, beautifying, panorama, and more for photos/videos.

Dual SIM Standby Technology

"Dual card, dual standby, single pass" technology allows the phone to support two SIM cards simultaneously. Both SIM cards can be in standby mode, but only one can be used for making phone calls at a time. If one SIM card is active for calls, the other cannot receive calls.

Third-party software installations and customizations may affect device performance and stability. UMIDIGI is not responsible for issues arising from such modifications.

Temperature Precautions: Avoid exposing the device and battery to extreme cold or hot temperatures. Such conditions can cause deformation and reduce battery capacity. Do not place the device or battery near heat sources like microwaves or ovens, as the battery may explode.

Battery Handling: Use only UMIDIGI-approved batteries and chargers. Do not crush, pierce, or expose the battery to high pressure, as this can cause short circuits or overheating.

Disposal: Follow local regulations for the disposal of batteries and phones.
