Step-by-Step Assembly
Step 1
Assemble the bottom hexagon: Take one of the hexagons for 2 rods (2) and install two rods (3). Rotate the rod so that the angle of the hole in it lines up with the angle of the screw-hole in the hexagon. Join the pieces with a screw (a) using the hex key (b).
Step 2
Attach a hexagon for 2 rods (2) on one of the installed rods. Fasten it with a screw (a). Mind that the overall angle should be inward.
Step 3
Attach a rod (3) to the new hexagon (2) with a screw (a), mind the angle.
Step 4
Next attach a hexagon for 3 rods (1) to the new rod. Fasten with a screw (a). Rotate the new hexagon so that the engraved mark is facing outwards.
Step 5
Attach a rod (3) to the new hexagon for three rods (1), using a screw (a). Insert it to the remaining hole without an engraved mark.
Step 6
Attach a new hexagon for three rods (1) to the latest rod. Fasten with a screw (a). Keep in mind both the rotation of the holes and that the engraved mark should be facing outwards.
Step 7
Attach another rod (3) using a screw (a) and the hex key (b) to the latest hexagon for three rods (1).
Step 8
Attach a hexagon for three rods (1), the engraved mark should be facing outside. Make sure that both the connecting rods are properly aligned and then attach them both with a screw (a) each. Assemble 5 similar hexagons; these will be the base of the dome. Then assemble the upper hexagon part of the construction.
Step 9
Affix the rods with screws (a), make sure the rotation of the rods are aligned with their respective holes. All engraved markings on the hexagon for three rods (1) blocks should be facing the outside of the hexagon.
Step 10
Align two bottom hexagons, so that their hexagons for two rods (2) are oriented downwards. Then connect the two pieces with a rod (3) so that the hexagons are angled inwards and towards each other. Fasten with a screw (a).
Step 11
Continue connecting the bottom hexagons until all the five hexagons from Step 8 are connected.
Step 12
In the structure you have now assembled, attach a rod (3) in each of the top facing hexagons for three rods, all turning inward. Fasten them each with a screw (a).
Step 13
Join the previously assembled top hexagon from Step 9 with the five rods (3). Make sure all the rods (3) are inserted.
Step 14
Fasten the top hexagon to the rods (3) with screws (a).
Step 15
Anchor the construction to the floor using anchors (e), dowels (c) and screws (f).
