Pixsys 2000.35.015 Converter: TC-RTD to 4-20mA
User Manual
Introduction
Thank you for choosing a Pixsys device. The Signal converter code 2000.35.015 converts a signal obtained from temperature sensors PT100, PT1000 or NI100 (with a 2, 3 or 4 wires connection) or Thermocouples (TC) into a current signal for a 4..20mA loop (2 wires).
Main features include:
- High accuracy
- 16-bit conversion
- Programmable by RFid (NFC)
- Input: -10..+70 mV
- 2624 Word non-volatile memory (circular buffer) for data-logging with sampling time selectable by the user
- Possibility to rescale the output 4..20mA compared to the temperature input value
- Field calibration to compensate for eventual errors (Gain and Offset)
- Compact dimensions
The software RF Programmer (available for download on the Pixsys website) and the RF Programmer allow for complete configurability of the device, download of logged data to a PC, and visualization/printing of the temperature-time trend.
Safety Guidelines
Read carefully the safety guidelines and programming instructions contained in this manual before using or connecting the device.
Only qualified personnel should be allowed to use the device and/or service it, and in accordance with the technical data and environmental conditions listed in this manual.

Connections
Wiring Diagram:
Shows connections for RTD (Pt100, Ni100) with 2, 3, or 4 wires, and Thermocouple (TC) inputs. Includes power supply (6-32Vdc) and 4-20mA output connections.
Example Connections:
- RTD 2 WIRE Pt100: Connect to RTD terminals.
- RTD 3 WIRE Pt100: Connect to RTD terminals.
- RTD 4 WIRE Pt100: Connect to RTD terminals.
- RTD 2 WIRE Ni100: Connect to RTD terminals.
- RTD 3 WIRE Ni100: Connect to RTD terminals.
- RTD 4 WIRE Ni100: Connect to RTD terminals.

Configuration
To configure this signal converter, you need the RF Programmer and the configuration software RFID_Programmer, available for download from www.pixsys.net. After connecting the RF Programmer via USB and activating the software, you can configure the device by selecting the sensor type, measuring range, output for error signal, and sampling frequency for data logging.
The keys "WRITE" and "READ" allow you to write and read data on the devices quickly and easily. A list of all programmed devices is shown on the lower side of the display, which can be printed to confirm successful programming.
Configuration Interface Example:
A screenshot shows a software interface with options to select sensor type (RTD, TC), model (PT100, Ni100), connection type (2 Wire, 3 Wire, 4 Wire), output signal (4..20mA), error signal (3.9mA, 21mA, Disabled), and data logging settings (Time shot, Seconds). It also displays current readings, calibration settings (Gain, Offset), and device status.
Data Logger
This signal converter is equipped with a data logging function for the input signal. By setting the sampling time (selectable from 1 to 3600 seconds), each time the 4..20mA loop powers the device, it stores the input value into non-volatile memory. Through the RF Programmer, it is possible to download, display, and print all the data.
Data Log Trend Example:
A graph shows a data log trend with 'Sample Point' on the x-axis and temperature values on the y-axis, indicating recorded temperature data over time.
Additional Information
The device is powered by a 6-32 Vdc supply.
The product is compliant with CE and RoHS standards.
