Replacing the Remote Control Battery
The Bluetooth remote control is designed for easy battery replacement. There are two common types of battery covers:
Type 1: Covering Type
- Locate the groove on the side of the remote control. Use a fingernail or a suitable tool to gently pry open the upper shell at this point.
- Remove the old battery and insert a new one, ensuring correct polarity.
- Carefully snap the shell back into place to secure the battery compartment.
Type 2: Sliding Type
- Identify the back cover of the remote control. Slide it in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the product diagrams.
- Remove the old battery and insert a new one, observing the correct polarity.
- Slide the back cover back onto the remote until it is securely in place.
Important: When replacing the battery, always ensure the positive pole (+) is oriented outwards. Do not insert the battery with reversed polarity.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
- Issue: Bluetooth connection failure.
- First, delete the existing "VIPsy" Bluetooth pairing from your smartphone's settings.
- Restart the remote control by turning it off and on again.
- Initiate the pairing process from Step 1 in the "Pairing the Remote Control" section.
- Issue: Shutter button does not function on Android devices.
- Open your smartphone's camera application.
