- Connect the camera to a PoE injector/switch using a network cable.
- Connect the PoE injector/switch to your router, then power on the PoE injector/switch.
Connection Diagram Description: A router is connected via a network cable to a PoE Injector. The PoE Injector then connects to the PoE IP Camera via another network cable. An optional power adapter can also connect to the PoE Injector. The diagram shows the flow of data and power.
Info: The camera should be powered by a 12V DC power adapter or a PoE device such as a PoE injector, PoE switch, or Reolink NVR (not included in the package).

Mounting
Info: There are two different types of mounts for Reolink PoE bullet cameras. Please check which mount is included in your package and follow the correct instructions to install the camera properly.
Tips for Proper Installation
- Avoid pointing the camera towards objects with strong light, including sunlight, lamps, etc.
- Do not point the camera towards a window or mirror. This can cause glare from the infrared LEDs, ambient light, or status lights.
- Do not place the camera in a shaded area; point it towards a well-lit area. For better image quality, ensure lighting conditions are the same for both the camera and the object.
- For better image quality, it is recommended to clean the lens with a soft cloth.
- Ensure that cable points are not exposed to water/moisture or blocked by dirt or other elements. For outdoor mounting, we recommend using a junction box (art. no. B10).
- Do not install the camera in places where rain and snow can directly hit the lens.
- The camera can operate under extreme cold conditions – as low as -25°C as the camera itself will produce heat. Start the camera indoors for a few minutes before installing it outdoors.
Install the Camera
Step 1: Drill holes according to the mounting hole template and screw the bracket into the wall.
Diagram Description: A drill bit is shown next to a wall with two drilled holes, indicating where screws will go. Two screws are shown next to the bracket.
Info: Use the drywall anchors included in the package if necessary.
Step 2: Install the mounting bracket with the mounting screws included in the package.
Diagram Description: The camera's base is shown with screws being inserted into the wall. A cable is shown routed through a notch in the bracket.
Info: Route the cable through the cable notch on the mounting bracket.
Step 3: Loosen the adjustment screw on the bracket and adjust the camera to the desired direction/position.
Diagram Description: A hand is shown turning a screw on the camera's mount, allowing the camera body to rotate.
Step 4: Tighten the adjustment screw to secure the camera in the desired position.
Diagram Description: A hand is shown tightening the screw on the camera's mount, fixing its position.
Info: If the camera has a different mount without an adjustment screw, loosen the adjustment screw with the included hex key and rotate the camera as shown below to adjust the angle.
Alternative Adjustment Diagram: Two diagrams show camera rotation. The first shows a camera rotating 360° horizontally on its base. The second shows a camera tilting 90° vertically.
After adjustment, tighten the screw back to lock the camera.
