Thank you for your choice and purchase of a Hyundai portable electric air conditioner. It will serve you for a long time.
1. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The appliance is designed for air cooling in domestic premises. The manufacturer reserves the right to introduce changes in design, configuration and processing of the article with a view to improve its properties without any prior notification of customers. There may be some misprints in text and digital notations of the present manual. If after reading this manual you have any questions concerning work and operation of the appliance, please, refer to a shop assistant or to a specialized service center for further explanations. The article has a label with all the needed technical data and other useful information about the appliance. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose indicated in this manual.
2. SAFEGUARDS
- Do not attempt to install the conditioner yourself. Call for a qualified installation specialist.
- While using the air conditioner, it is necessary to observe several precautions. Incorrect operation due to ignoring of precautions may result in personal injury of a user and other people, as well as in damaging of their property.
- The electric appliance should be under observation while operated, especially if there are any children near it.
- Do not pass your fingers or foreign objects through an air outlet grille of indoor and outdoor units, since it may result in a trauma caused by a revolving fan.
- Do not let children turn the conditioner on by themselves. Children may turn the conditioner on only under the care of adults.
- Do not attempt to repair the conditioner by yourself. Internal units of the conditioner carry a voltage and it is life-threatening! For repair of the appliance refer to an authorized service center.
- Do not use the appliance if it is faulty, or if it was dropped or damaged.
- Do not open a front panel of the appliance during its work.
- Do not dismantle and modify the appliance.
- Unplug the conditioner immediately, if it emits strange odours or smoke.
- Do not splash and pour water and other liquids on the conditioner.
- Always unplug the conditioner during a lightning storm.
- Always unplug the conditioner, when it is not used.
- Before cleaning and maintenance of the conditioner unplug it. Cleaning and maintenance should be performed in accordance with instructions of this manual.
- To ensure the effective work of the conditioner, operate it in environment described in the present manual.
- Do not use dangerous chemicals for cleaning of the appliance and do not let them on the appliance.
- When removing an air filter, do not touch metal parts of the appliance.
- To avoid overheating and risk of flash fire, as well as damage of internal electric network, do not change the length of a power cord and do not connect the appliance via extension cords.
- To avoid electrical hazards, damaged power cord must be changed only at authorized service centers qualified professionals.
- To avoid risk of electric shock, do not place the power cord near a heater and flammable or combustible substances.
- Do not start or stop the unit by connecting or disconnecting electrical power.

4. APPLIANCE DESCRIPTION
The air conditioner consists of indoor and outdoor units connected by pipelines. Control is managed via a remote control or the indoor unit's control panel.

- 1. Indoor Unit: The main unit for indoor installation.
- 2. Front Panel: The removable front cover of the indoor unit.
- 3. Indoor Unit Air-Intake Grille: Where air is drawn into the indoor unit.
- 4. Control Panel (Indoor Unit): Contains buttons for power and mode selection, used when a remote control is unavailable.
- 5. Blinds (Deflectors): Adjustable louvers to direct the flow of treated air.
- 6. Indoor Unit Air Outlet: Where conditioned air is expelled.
- 7. Refrigerant (Gas) Pipe: Copper tubing connecting the indoor and outdoor units for refrigerant flow.
- 8. Condensate Drain Pipe: Tube for removing moisture collected by the unit.
- 9. Outdoor Unit Air Outlet Grille: Where air is expelled from the outdoor unit.
- 10. Outdoor Unit: The unit installed outside the building.
- 11. Outdoor Unit Air-Intake Grilles: Where air is drawn into the outdoor unit.

6. DEVICE CONTROL

If the remote control is lost or unavailable, a control button labeled "ON/OFF" is located behind the front panel. To access it, carefully open the front panel by pulling it from the left and right.
- Press once to activate the automatic mode.
- Press again within five seconds to activate the forced cooling mode.
The indoor unit's front panel display shows the set and current temperature, along with indicators for power, night mode, temperature, timer, and compressor operation.

The display on the remote control corresponds to the selected modes.
- 1. ON/OFF Button (Power): Turns the conditioner on or off.
- 2. MODE Button: Selects the operating mode (AUTO, COOL, DRY, HEAT, FAN).
- 3. SLEEP Button: Activates/deactivates sleep mode, which uses a low fan speed.
- 4. SWING Button: Adjusts the direction of the air outlet louvers (up/down, left/right).
- 5. HEALTH Button: Turns the ion function on or off.
- 6. SUPER Button: Activates/deactivates the intensive mode. This function automatically turns off when switching modes or adjusting fan speed.
- 7. TIMER Button: Sets automatic ON/OFF times. Use "SET", "MODE", "SPEED", or "TIMER" buttons to set the desired time. The unit will turn on/off automatically after the selected period.
- 8. INDICATORS LIGHT Button: Turns the indoor unit display backlight on or off.
- 9. INCREASE THE TEMPERATURE Button: Controls the temperature setting.
- 10. ECO Button: Activates energy-saving mode.
- 11. OPTION Button: Not available for model H-AC-H1.
Remote Control Battery Installation: Use two LR03 alkaline batteries, observing polarity. Replace batteries if commands are not confirmed or the display is faulty. Keep the remote control within 8 meters of the indoor unit and ensure a clear line of sight.
7. OPERATING MODES
AUTO Mode (SMART)
Activated using the "MODE" button. The conditioner automatically selects cooling, heating, or fan mode to maintain the set temperature.
COOL, HEAT, and FAN Modes
- Turn on the conditioner using the "ON/OFF" button.
- Press "MODE" to select COOL, HEAT, or FAN manually.
- Use "TEMP" buttons (up/down) to set the desired temperature (not applicable for FAN mode).
- Press the "FAN" button to select fan speed: AUTO, LOW, MIDDLE, HIGH.
- Press "ON/OFF" again to turn off the conditioner.
Note: Air temperature cannot be set in FAN mode.
DRY Mode
Turn on with "ON/OFF", then select DRY mode using "MODE". The unit will operate in dehumidification mode. It automatically turns off if the indoor temperature drops to 10°C and resumes when it reaches 12°C.
TIMER Mode
Timer ON: Press the Timer ON button. Each press adds 30 minutes (0-10 hours) or 1 hour (10-24 hours) for automatic activation.
Timer OFF: Press the Timer OFF button. Each press adds 30 minutes (0-10 hours) or 1 hour (10-24 hours) for automatic deactivation.
SLEEP Mode
Activates a mode that gradually adjusts temperature for comfort during sleep. In cooling mode, it increases temp by 1°C/hour for 2 hours. In heating mode, it decreases temp by 2°C/hour for 2 hours. The unit turns off after 7 hours. Sleep mode is automatically disabled when power is lost.
Regulating Treated Air Flow Direction
Use the "SWING" button to adjust the louvers for optimal air distribution and comfort.
8. MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, always unplug the conditioner from the power supply.
Cleaning the Indoor Unit and Remote Control Board:
- Clean with a dry, soft cloth.
- If heavily soiled, moisten the cloth with cold water.
- Do not use a moist cloth on the remote control board.
- Avoid using brushes or leaving them on the unit to prevent damage.
- Do not use petrol, solvents, cleaning powders, or other harsh chemicals.
Before Extended Interruption:
- Run the conditioner in FAN mode for several hours to dry internal cavities.
- Unplug the unit and remove batteries from the remote control.
Pre-Operation Checks:
- Ensure the air filter is installed.
- Verify outdoor unit grilles are not blocked by foreign objects.
Air Filter Cleaning:
The air filter removes dust and particles. A dirty filter reduces efficiency.
- Clean every two weeks for permanent use, or more often in dusty environments.
- To remove, open the indoor unit panel.
- Clean filters with a vacuum cleaner or rinse with clean water. For heavy contamination, use a soft brush and mild detergent, then dry in a cool place.
- Hold the filter with the contaminated side up when vacuuming, and down when washing.
- Do not dry in direct sun or near fire.
- Reinstall the filter and close the panel.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
