8. Warranty Information
Warranty Obligations
ATTENTION!
Warranty service and repair of Hyundai air conditioners are performed only by authorized service centers or authorized workshops in the Russian Federation. Expert examination and repair duration is no more than 45 days from the acceptance of the defective unit.
If you encounter issues not resolvable by the manual, contact the regional representative or an authorized Hyundai service center in Russia. Addresses are available on www.hc-hvac.ru or from your seller.
Contact numbers: +7 (495) 627-5285. Email: service@hc-hvac.ru.
A properly completed warranty card and proof of purchase (receipt) are required for warranty service. If the purchase date cannot be determined, the warranty period is calculated from the production date (found via serial number).
The official service life of the Hyundai air conditioner is 10 years from the date of delivery to the consumer, provided proper operation and maintenance are followed.
The warranty card is valid only if it clearly and correctly states the model, serial number, purchase date, seller's details, and buyer's signature. Seller must also fill out detachable coupons. The date of commissioning and the stamp of the authorized organization are mandatory. Service centers must fill out their sections during maintenance.
The model and serial number on the unit's ID sticker must match the warranty card. Tampering or erasure voids the warranty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
ATTENTION!
Purchase Hyundai appliances only from authorized dealers.
This warranty card confirms the manufacturer's commitment to address defects arising from manufacturing faults within the warranty period.
Warranty Period: 1 year from the date of delivery to the consumer.
Extended Warranty*: 2 years for the compressor from the date of delivery to the consumer.
Warranty is valid for products manufactured from 01.01.2016 with the specified ID format (see Figure 1).
[Diagram Description: Figure 1 shows a label with fields for PRODUCTION ID, UNIT CODE, and SERIAL NUMBER.]
Warranty obligations supplement statutory rights and do not limit them. The warranty is valid only for products purchased and manufactured for the Russian Federation within the territory of the Russian Federation.
* Extended warranty for specific components is valid only if regular preventive maintenance is performed by authorized service centers. Each service must be recorded with a stamp. Missing even one service voids the extended warranty for that component.
Manufacturer's Rights
- Refuse warranty service if conditions are not met (see "Early Termination of Warranty Service").
- Initiate independent expert examination to determine the cause of failure.
- Compare the product's ID label with production registries to verify serial numbers.
- Offer additional warranty terms (details on www.hc-hvac.ru).
Please keep your warranty card for the entire warranty period.
Upon purchase, check product completeness and condition with the seller. Claims for incomplete items or mechanical damage after sale will not be accepted.
Installation and commissioning must be performed by licensed specialists or authorized organizations. Consult the manual for necessary technical work. Paid installation services are available from Hyundai authorized service centers. Using unauthorized specialists may void the warranty if improper installation causes failure.
Early Termination of Warranty Service
Warranty service may be refused under the following conditions:
- Improper completion of the warranty card at the time of sale.
- Absence of a sales receipt or inability to identify the seller.
- Mechanical damage incurred after delivery that could cause the defect.
- Damage caused by non-standard power supply, external factors, or use of non-original accessories.
- Violation of operating instructions in the manual.
- Unauthorized opening or repair attempts leading to malfunction.
- Defects arising from the product being part of a larger system where its failure causes system failure.
ATTENTION! If expert examination determines that defects are not due to the manufacturer or seller, or if no defects are found, the consumer must reimburse the seller/manufacturer for examination, storage, and transportation costs.
Warranty obligations do not extend to consumable parts or parts subject to wear and tear during normal operation (e.g., filters, batteries), unless replacement is part of disassembly or routine maintenance. This also excludes mounting accessories, tools, documentation, advertising materials, and labels (except the main ID label).
Manufacturer is not liable for warranty in the following cases:
- Product used for purposes other than intended.
- Missing or damaged manufacturer's ID label.
- Signs of unauthorized opening or unqualified repair.
- Defects caused by modification or alteration of the product's design or schematics not approved by the manufacturer.
- Damage from foreign objects, substances, liquids, insects, or excessive dust ingress.
- Damage from connection to power grids with unacceptable parameters.
- Damage caused by force majeure, accidents, or intentional/negligent actions of the consumer or third parties.
- Failure to perform mandatory preventive maintenance as described in the manual.
- Improper storage (preservation/disassembly for storage).
- Installation not performed with required permits where applicable by law.
- Consumer purchased a unit of adequate quality but it is unsuitable for the intended environment due to its technical specifications.
- Improper installation by unauthorized organizations/individuals, including incorrect vacuum purging, insufficient refrigerant charge, or other errors (e.g., kinked pipes, incorrect height differences).
- Operation in unacceptable conditions or violation of operating modes (e.g., outside temperature range).
- Failure caused by missed periodic maintenance.
- Failure caused by severe contamination of filters, evaporator, or condenser with dust, leaves, insects, etc.
ATTENTION! If the product's ID label is loose, re-adhere it to the warranty card.

Specific warranty terms may apply in certain territories, potentially extending the warranty period for the product or its components, as officially communicated by the Manufacturer.
ATTENTION! The duration for expert examination and warranty repair is no more than 45 days from the date the defective item is received by the authorized Hyundai service center.
ATTENTION! Most Hyundai brand appliances require professional consultation from qualified specialists for selection and commissioning. Additional warranty may be denied if the product was purchased from sellers not adhering to manufacturer requirements for customer service and standard purchase conditions.
