Add Gateway Device to LAN
Step 1: Connect the power supply and LAN cable to the device and WiFi router.
Step 2: Open the Hafele Smart Living App, click on '+' on the right side or click on 'Add Devices'.
Step 3: Navigate to 'Hafele Devices' and select 'Gateway'.
Step 4: Click on 'Confirm the two green lights are on' and then press 'Next'.
Step 5: The application will search for devices. Wait until the device appears and then press the '+' sign.
Step 6: When the display screen shows 'Added', the device pairing was successful.
Add Wireless Gateway (Zigbee)
Step 1: Connect the power supply cable to the device.
Step 2: Go to 'Hafele Smart Living' and select '+' on the right side or press 'Add'.
Step 3: Go to 'Hafele Devices' and select 'Wireless Gateway (Zigbee)'.
Step 4: Select the WIFI menu, enter the WIFI password, and then press 'Next'.
Step 5: Click on 'Confirm the indicator is blinking rapidly' and then press 'Next'.
Step 6: When the display screen shows 'Added', the device pairing was successful.
Pairing lock with Application
Step 1: Open the battery cover and remove one piece of battery.
Step 2: Connect the Zigbee module and re-insert the battery.
Step 3: Go to the 'Hafele Smart Living APP', select '+' and then click on 'Lock (Zigbee)'.
Step 4: Select the Gateway to add the lock and click on 'Confirm'.
Step 5: Unlock the lock and hold it on the door open.
Step 6: Enter the Locks settings menu, then select 'Network'.
Step 7: Select 'Pairing with APP' on the digital door lock.
Step 8: Click on 'Confirm the indicator is blinking rapidly' and then press 'Next'.
Step 9: When the device has been paired successfully, the application will show an icon to change the device name and then press 'done'.
Basic function
The Hafele DL7100 app interface displays:
- Battery status
- Privacy mode (On/Off)
- Door status (Open/Closed)
- Edit lock name
- Click To Unlock button

Remote door opening with mobile APP
Step 1: Open the application and select lock management.
Step 2: Touch and long press the icon in the center.
Step 3: When the display screen appears, click 'Confirm'.
Step 4: Wait until the display screen shows 'opening successful' and click 'Confirm'.
Create temporary PIN Code
Step 1: Open the application and select lock management.
Step 2: Touch the icon in the center and then slide left.
Step 3: 'Remote dynamic password' will be displayed.
Step 4: Touch the screen and wait until the digits stop generating a temporary PIN.
Add users
Step 1: Select 'Users' on the bottom.
Step 2: Select '+' on the right side.
Step 3: Select the member type (Family Member or Non-Family Member) and click 'Immediately add'.
Step 4 (Family Members): Enter user data such as Name, Region, and Account (email of their mobile APP account). Users will then see this lock in their APP and have access to all functions.
Step 5 (Non-Family Members): Enter non-family user data. These members are only added to display their name in the unlock 'Records'. This requires some setup.
Setup for Non-Family Members:
- Add user PIN Code, fingerprint, or card using the lock's own menu (not in the app).
- Test your PIN Code, fingerprint, or card to open the lock.
- Open the App and check the unlock 'Records'.
- You can see the Number assigned to your PIN Code, fingerprint, or card in the logfile.
- Go back to 'Users', select the user, and click 'Edit'.
- Assign the correct PIN Code, fingerprint, or card 'number' to the correct user name.
Unlock records
Step 1: Select 'Records' on the bottom.
Step 2: The application will show the usage history, including name, time, and unlock activity.
Temporary PIN Code function
Step 1: Select 'Setting' on the right.
Step 2: Select 'Dynamic Password Management'.
Step 3: Select 'Available to administrators only' to activate the random security coding function for admin only.
Step 4: Select 'All users are available' to activate the random security coding function for all users.
Step 5: Select 'Verify door lock administrator password is available' to enter the Master's PIN Code before using the random security coding function.
Remote door function settings
Step 1: Select 'Setting' on the right.
Step 2: Select 'Remote Door Opening Management'.
Step 3: Select 'Administrator password only' to activate the function for admin only.
Step 4: Select 'No password is required' to activate the function for all users.
Step 5: Select 'Disable remote doors' to deactivate the remote doors function.
