Nilight LED Tailgate Light Strip

5 Full Functions

This LED tailgate light strip offers five distinct functions:

  • Right Turn Light: Illuminates the right turn signal.
  • Left Turn Light: Illuminates the left turn signal.
  • Reverse Light: Activates when the vehicle is in reverse.
  • Brake Light: Illuminates when the brakes are applied.
  • Running Light: Provides a constant low-level illumination.

Wiring Diagram: The strip connects via a standard 4-pin connector. The wires are color-coded as follows: Black (Ground), Red (Running Light), Yellow (Left Turn/Brake), Green (Right Turn/Brake), and Blue (Reverse).

Installation Instruction

  1. Measure the recessed area between the bottom of the tailgate and the bumper shelf to ensure enough space to mount the tailgate light bar.
  2. Clean and dry the mounting surface.
  3. Mark the mounting position. Decide whether the wire bundle needs to be towards the driver side or passenger side by testing when signals lights work properly. Also, mark the correct direction of the wire bundle.
  4. Peel off the adhesive tape at the back and stick the light bar according to the direction and mounting position you previously marked.
  5. You can also add on additional mounts and screws provided to secure the light bar.
  6. Electrical Hook-up: Plug and play the standard flat 4-pin connectors. Connect the reverse wire to the reverse light wire on the vehicle.
  7. Tie the wire bundle behind the bumper and make it out of view.
