Torque Specifications
Standard tightening torques in Nm for bolted connections with strength class 8.8 and for stainless steel (A2). For special tightening torques, refer to your specialist workshop.

General Mounting Advice
- Follow the order of assembly steps precisely.
- Observe national road vehicle regulations and applicable laws in your country. Parts requiring inspection must be presented to a testing station after fitting.
- Check and tighten all bolted connections after 50 km.
- Be aware that fitting accessories like panniers, crash bars, or foot peg lowering kits may restrict the bike's lean angle.
- When modifying fairings or handlebars, ensure electrical wiring, brake lines, and cables are refitted correctly and check full steering lock clearance.
- Always disconnect the battery before working on the electrics.
- Consider applying protective film to areas prone to stone chips.
- Work on the brake system and suspension should be carried out by a specialist workshop.
- Maximum load for standard luggage racks is 5 kg; for ZegaPro TC racks, it is 10 kg.
- When using original or aftermarket accessories, verify clearance, fitment, and check for potential collisions with other parts.
- Apply conventional lubricant to stainless steel bolts prior to assembly.
Installation Procedure
This section provides a textual description of the visual installation guide.
Step 1: Preparation and Configuration
Note: The fitting of the left and right side of the luggage rack is identical.
The luggage rack system can be configured in different ways:
- Basic Configuration: Installation solely for luggage carriers.
- Extended Configuration: Installation in combination with a topcase carrier or passenger holder handles.
Step 2: Mounting the Rack
Refer to the diagrams for specific attachment points.
- Identify the
original
mounting points on the motorcycle frame. - Position the luggage rack components, using the provided
3 mm
spacer where indicated by the diagrams. - Insert and hand-tighten the
M6 x 25
screws at all connection points. - Initial Tightening: Ensure all screws are snug.
- Final Tightening: Securely fasten all connections using the appropriate torque values as specified in the "Torque Specifications" table.
Important: Re-check all connections after 50 km of riding.
