General Safety and Installation Advice
- Follow the order of assembly steps precisely.
- Observe applicable road vehicle regulations and EC/ECE directives in your country. If parts require inspection/approval, visit a testing station.
- Check and tighten all bolted connections after 50 km.
- For special tightening torques, consult a specialist workshop.
- Fitting panniers, crash bars, foot peg lowering kits, kickstand enlargements, spoilers, or engine guards may restrict the motorcycle's lean angle.
- When modifying fairing, stem, or handlebars, refit cables, brake lines, and controls correctly. Ensure full clearance with full steering lock.
- Always disconnect the battery before working on electrics.
- Consider applying protective film to areas prone to stone chips.
- Brake system and suspension work should be performed by a specialist workshop.
- Maximum load for standard luggage racks: 5 kg. For ZegaPro TC racks: 10 kg.
- When using original or aftermarket accessories, ensure clearance and check for potential collisions.
- Apply conventional lubricant to stainless steel bolts before assembly.

Mounting Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Motorcycle
Diagram shows the rear section of the motorcycle. Arrows indicate initial attachment points for the luggage carrier system.
Action: Access mounting points by removing a side cover and a clip/plastic insert (refer to diagrams on page 5).
Step 2: Attach Luggage Carrier Brackets
Diagrams show the assembly of the main luggage carrier brackets to the motorcycle frame.
Action:
- Insert screws (e.g., M8 x 60, M8 x 20) into the designated mounting points.
- Initially, do not tighten screws fully.
- Use M6 x 25 screws for specific connections.
Torque: After initial assembly, tighten all screws to the specified torque values.
Step 3: Mount ZEGA Mundo Luggage System
Diagrams show the ZEGA Mundo luggage system being attached to the mounted carrier brackets.
Action: Secure the luggage system to the carrier brackets using the provided hardware.
Step 4: Adjustments and Final Tightening
Optional Right Side Adjustment: If necessary, adjust the distance to the exhaust. This involves loosening screws, turning the exhaust inward, and then retightening the screws.
Mechanism Attachment: Diagrams illustrate attaching the locking mechanism to the luggage system. This may involve a "press" action on a component.
Operation: The luggage system features a locking mechanism. To open, push the knob. To close and secure, rotate the knob and tighten.
