Remote Control Overview
The remote control features a top section with mode selection buttons (TV, CBL/STB, DVD, AUX, AUDIO). Below this are navigation buttons (Power ?, Menu ☰, Guide ?️, Info ℹ️, Exit ❌, Back ↩️, Volume Up ⬆️/Down ⬇️, Channel Up ⬆️/Down ⬇️), a directional pad with OK button, playback controls (Play ▶️, Pause ⏸️, Stop ⏹️, Rewind ⏪, Fast Forward ⏩, Record ?), and a numeric keypad (0-9, Enter, Clear).
Installing Batteries, Screw, and Cable Attachment
The battery compartment is located on the back of the remote and requires two AAA batteries. Ensure correct polarity (+/-). A screw may be used to secure the battery cover.
Programming Methods
Programming - Code Input Method
This method allows programming the remote using codes from the attached code list.
- Turn on the device to control.
- Find the corresponding brand code from the attached list and write it down.
- Press and hold the desired mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds until the mode light remains on, then release.
- Input the 4-digit code. A valid code will turn off the mode light directly. An invalid code will blink the mode light three times and turn off.
Note: The remote will exit programming mode if no button is pressed for 20 seconds.
Programming - Auto Code Search Method
Scans through the database for the correct code.
- Turn on the device to control.
- Press and hold the desired mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds until the mode light remains on, then release.
- Press the [CH+] or [CH-] key to search forward or backward.
- When the device powers off or video starts playing, press the [POWER] key to save and exit. Use [CH+] or [CH-] to change search direction, or any other key to exit searching mode.
Programming - One Button Search Method
Works for TV and Cable/STB codes only.
- Power on the device to control.
- Press and release the desired mode key (e.g., TV).
- Press and hold the corresponding number key until the unit powers off. Release the key.
Note: After 3 seconds of holding the number key, the mode light will go out, entering search mode for that brand. The mode light will flash about once per second. Check other keys to ensure correct operation; repeat steps 1-4 if necessary.
Code Display
Use this method to display the code that is currently programmed.
- Press and release the desired mode key (e.g., TV).
- Press keys [MENU] and [1]. The mode key flashes indicate the first digit.
- Press keys [MENU] and [2]. The mode key flashes indicate the second digit.
- Press keys [MENU] and [3]. The mode key flashes indicate the third digit.
- Press keys [MENU] and [4]. The mode key flashes indicate the fourth digit.
Note: If the current digit is 0, the mode key will not flash.
Feature Programming
Multi-mode Combine Power
Allows powering on/off multiple devices with a single press of the POWER button.
Enable - Multi-mode Combine Power
- Press and hold any mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds until the mode light lights and remains on, then release.

- Press the [POWER] key to save and exit.
Disable - Multi-mode Combine Power
- Press and hold any mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds until the mode light lights and remains on, then release.

Device Mode Lock
Locks a device mode to prevent accidental reprogramming.
- Press and hold the mode key (e.g., STB) for about 3 seconds until the mode light lights and remains on, then release.

Status: If enabled, the mode light stays on. If disabled, the mode light blinks twice.
Media Punch-through
When enabled, media control keys ([STOP] ⏹️, [RECORD] ?, [<<] ⏪, [|<<] ⏪, [PAUSE] ⏸️, [>>|] ⏩, [>>] ⏩, [PLAY] ▶️) will always send commands for the assigned mode, regardless of the current remote mode.
- Press and hold the mode key (e.g., DVD) for about 3 seconds until the mode light lights and remains on, then release.

Roku® Punch-through (+ D-Pad)
When enabled, Roku keys ([EXIT] ❌, [<<] ⏪, [PLAY] ▶️, [PAUSE] ⏸️, [>>] ⏩, [INFO] ℹ️, [HOME] ?, [REPLAY] ↩️, [NETFLIX] ?, [UP] ⬆️, [DOWN] ⬇️, [LEFT] ⬅️, [RIGHT] ➡️ & [OK] ✔️) send commands for the assigned mode, regardless of the current remote mode.
- Press and hold the mode key (e.g., STB) for about 3 seconds until the mode light lights and remains on, then release.

Roku Punch-through (NO D-Pad)
When enabled, Roku keys ([EXIT] ❌, [<<] ⏪, [PLAY] ▶️, [PAUSE] ⏸️, [>>] ⏩, [INFO] ℹ️, [HOME] ?, [REPLAY] ↩️, [NETFLIX] ?) send commands for the assigned mode, regardless of the current remote mode.

Channel Punch-through

Volume Punch-through
When enabled, volume keys ([MUTE] ?, [VOL+] ⬆️ & [VOL-] ⬇️) send commands for the assigned mode, regardless of the current remote mode.
- Press and hold the mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds until the mode light lights and remains on, then release.

All-Key Punch-through
When enabled, all keys send commands for the assigned mode, regardless of the current remote mode. This has the lowest priority among punch-through types.
- Press and hold the mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds until the mode light lights and remains on, then release.

Individual Key Punch-through
Allows individually assigning keys to "punch-through" to a specific mode. This has the highest priority.
Enable - Individual Key Punch-through
- Press and hold any mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds until the mode light lights and remains on, then release.

. - Press the key you wish to enable punch-through for.
- Press the mode key you want to assign it to (e.g., TV, STB, AUX). The mode light goes out directly.
Note: To re-assign a key, repeat steps 1-4.
Disable - Individual Key Punch-through
- Press and hold any mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds until the mode light lights and remains on, then release.

. - Press the key you want to disable punch-through for. The mode light blinks twice to confirm.
Advanced Functions
Learning Function
Allows programming individual keys using codes from an existing remote.
- Press and hold the mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds until the mode light remains on, then release.
- Press and release the [MENU] key. The mode key blinks slowly, indicating learning mode.
- Press and release the key you want to learn. The mode light remains on.
- Align both remotes, pointing IR LEDs at each other, about 2 inches apart.
- Press and hold the corresponding key on the target remote until its mode light blinks three times, then flashes slowly, indicating successful learning.
- Status: If unsuccessful, the mode light flashes twice and exits learning mode (may indicate insufficient memory; delete learned keys and restart).
- Repeat steps 3-5 for other keys while the mode light blinks slowly.
- Press the mode key (e.g., TV) to save and exit.
Macro Function
Allows multiple key presses to be transmitted with a single dedicated key. Example: Power on TV, change input, increase volume, power on cable box, and set channel to 530.
Setting a Macro Key (Fixed Device Mode)
Assigns a macro key to work only within a designated mode.
- Press and hold the mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds until the mode light remains on, then release.

. - Press the key to assign the macro function to. The LED flashes once and remains on.
- Press the mode key (e.g., TV), then press the keys in the desired sequence. You can change modes during the sequence by pressing the corresponding mode key (e.g., DVD) before continuing.
- When complete, press and hold any mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds to save and exit.
Setting a Macro Key (Any Mode - Non-Fixed Device)
Assigns a macro key to work regardless of the current remote mode.
- Press and hold the mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds until the mode light remains on, then release.

. - Press the key to assign the macro function to. The LED flashes once and remains on.
- Press the mode key (e.g., TV), then press the keys in the desired sequence. You can change modes during the sequence by pressing the corresponding mode key (e.g., DVD) before continuing.
- When complete, press and hold any mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds to save and exit.
Example: Assigning "FAV" key to Power on TV, Change input, Increase volume by 1, Power on Cable Box, Input channel 530.
Sequence: Hold [TV] for 3s, then 9

Delete Programmed Macro Key
Simply skip step 4 from the above procedure.
Macro Functionality Notes:
- This remote allows up to 5 keys with macro functionality.
- This remote can program a maximum of 15 steps per macro.
- Programming a new macro over an existing one will replace it.
Backlight Adjustments
Toggle Backlighting On/Off
- Press and hold any mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds until the mode light remains on, then release.
