Installing the Batteries, Screw, and Cable Attachment

This section describes how to install batteries, the battery cover, and a screw (sold separately). The process involves:

A diagram in the original document illustrates this process, showing the remote, batteries, cover, and screw.

Programming Methods

Code Input Method

This method programs the remote using codes from an attached list.

  1. Turn on the device you want to control.
  2. Find the corresponding brand code from the code list and write it down for TV, DVD, STB, and AUDIO devices.
  3. Press and hold the desired mode key (e.g., TV) for approximately 3 seconds until its light remains on, then release the key.
  4. Input the 4-digit code from the code list.
  5. Confirmation:
    • If the code is valid, the mode key light will turn off directly.
    • If the code is invalid, the mode key light will blink three times quickly and turn off. Try inputting the code again.
  6. Testing: Check if most keys control the device. If not, try another code for the same brand or use the "Auto code search method" or "One button search method".

Note: If no button is pressed for 20 seconds during programming mode, the remote will exit programming mode.

Auto Code Search Method

This method allows programming without specific codes by scanning through all codes in the database.

  1. Turn on the device you want to control.
  2. Press and hold the desired mode key (e.g., TV) for approximately 3 seconds until its light remains on, then release the key.
  3. Press the [CH+] or [CH-] key and release; the remote will search forward or backward through codes.
  4. When the device powers off (or video starts playing), press the [POWER] key to save and exit. During searching, you can press [CH+] or [CH-] to change the search direction. Pressing any other key will exit the search mode.

One Button Search Method

This method programs the remote by pressing a single key. It works for TV and Cable/STB codes only.

  1. Power on the device you want to control.
  2. Press and release the desired mode key (e.g., TV).
  3. Find your corresponding brand number from the list below and press and hold the corresponding number key until the unit powers off. Release the key once the unit powers off.
  4. Note: While holding the number key, after 3 seconds, the mode light will go out, entering search mode for that brand. The mode light will then flash approximately once per second.
  5. Check other keys to see if they work correctly. If not, repeat steps 1-4.
