Installing the Batteries, Screw, and Cable Attachment
This section describes how to install batteries, the battery cover, and a screw (sold separately). The process involves:
- Opening the battery compartment on the remote.
- Inserting the batteries (typically AAA).
- Securing the battery cover.
- Attaching any necessary screws or cable attachments as required.
A diagram in the original document illustrates this process, showing the remote, batteries, cover, and screw.
Programming Methods
Code Input Method
This method programs the remote using codes from an attached list.
- Turn on the device you want to control.
- Find the corresponding brand code from the code list and write it down for TV, DVD, STB, and AUDIO devices.
- Press and hold the desired mode key (e.g., TV) for approximately 3 seconds until its light remains on, then release the key.
- Input the 4-digit code from the code list.
- Confirmation:
- If the code is valid, the mode key light will turn off directly.
- If the code is invalid, the mode key light will blink three times quickly and turn off. Try inputting the code again.
- Testing: Check if most keys control the device. If not, try another code for the same brand or use the "Auto code search method" or "One button search method".
Note: If no button is pressed for 20 seconds during programming mode, the remote will exit programming mode.
Auto Code Search Method
This method allows programming without specific codes by scanning through all codes in the database.
- Turn on the device you want to control.
- Press and hold the desired mode key (e.g., TV) for approximately 3 seconds until its light remains on, then release the key.
- Press the [CH+] or [CH-] key and release; the remote will search forward or backward through codes.
- When the device powers off (or video starts playing), press the [POWER] key to save and exit. During searching, you can press [CH+] or [CH-] to change the search direction. Pressing any other key will exit the search mode.
One Button Search Method
This method programs the remote by pressing a single key. It works for TV and Cable/STB codes only.
- Power on the device you want to control.
- Press and release the desired mode key (e.g., TV).
- Find your corresponding brand number from the list below and press and hold the corresponding number key until the unit powers off. Release the key once the unit powers off.
- Note: While holding the number key, after 3 seconds, the mode light will go out, entering search mode for that brand. The mode light will then flash approximately once per second.
- Check other keys to see if they work correctly. If not, repeat steps 1-4.

Channel Punch-through
When enabled, all channel keys (0-9, [-], [RECALL], [CC], [SAP], [CH +]&[CH -]) will always send the code assigned to the current mode, regardless of the remote's current mode.
Example: If channel punch-through is programmed for STB mode, pressing a channel key while the remote is in TV mode will send the STB code instead of the TV code.
- Press and hold the mode key (e.g., STB) you wish to enable/disable channel punch-through for, for about 3 seconds until its lights remain on, then release the mode key.
- Input code
"9 9 8 2"

- Input code
"9 9 7 3"
.- If enabled: The mode light goes out directly.
- If disabled: The mode light blinks two times.
Individual Key Punch-through
This allows individually assigning keys to "punch-through" to a chosen mode. Once enabled, the key will always send the code to the assigned device, regardless of the remote's current mode. Individual Key Punch-through has the highest priority amongst all punch-through types.

Learning Function
This function allows programming individual keys using codes from an existing remote.
- Press and hold the mode key (e.g., TV) you wish to program for about 3 seconds until its light remains on, then release the mode key.
- Press and release the [MENU] key. The mode key blinks slowly, indicating the remote is in learning mode.
- Press and release the key you want to be learned. The mode light now remains on.
- Align both remotes, pointing them at each other, approximately 2 inches apart with IR LEDs directly aligned.
- Press and hold the corresponding key on the target remote control until the mode light blinks three times, then flashes slowly, indicating successful learning. Proceed to step 6.
- If unsuccessful: The mode light flashes two times quickly and exits learning mode. This may indicate insufficient memory space; delete some learned keys and start over from step 1.
- Repeat steps 3-5 to learn all necessary keys. The mode light will blink slowly.
- Press the mode key (e.g., TV) to save and exit.
Delete Learned Keys
Delete individual learned key
- Press and hold the mode key (e.g., TV) you wish to program for about 3 seconds until its light remains on, then release the mode key.

- Input code
"9 9 8 8"
. The mode light blinks two times slowly to confirm and exits.
Macro Function
Macros allow multiple key presses to be transmitted with a single dedicated key press. For example, a single press of an assigned key could power on a TV, change input, increase volume, power on a cable box, and input channel 530.
Setting a Macro Key while in a specific Mode only (Fixed Device)
This setting assigns a macro key to be used only within a designated mode. Example: If the "FAV" key is assigned to "TV" mode for macros, it will function normally in other modes (STB, DVD, AUDIO) but will only send the assigned macro when the remote is in "TV" mode and the "FAV" key is pressed.
- Press and hold the mode key (e.g., TV) you wish to program for about 3 seconds until its lights remain on, then release the mode key.
- Input code
"9 9 5"
. - Press the key to assign the macro function to. The LED flashes once and remains on.
- Press the mode key (e.g., TV), then press the keys in the desired order for the macro sequence. If you need to change modes during the sequence, press the corresponding mode key (e.g., DVD) in sequence, then continue with the remaining keys.
- When complete, press and hold any mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds to save and exit.
Setting a Macro Key that works while in any mode (Non-fixed device)
This setting allows the macro key function to be sent regardless of the remote's current mode (TV, DVD, STB, AUDIO).
- Press and hold any mode key (e.g., TV) for about 3 seconds until its lights remain on, then release the mode key.
- Input code
"9 9 6"
Example: Assigning the "FAV" key to Power on TV, Change input, Increase volume by 1, Power on Cable Box, Input channel 530. Press the following keys in sequence:
Hold [TV] for 3 seconds, [9], [9], [6], [FAV], [TV], [POWER], [INPUT], [VOL +], [CBL], [POWER], [5], [3], [0] & finally, press and hold [TV] for 3 seconds to save.
Delete programmed macro key: Simply skip step 4 from the above procedure.
Macro functionality notes:
- This remote allows up to 5 keys having macro functionality.
- This remote can program a maximum of 15 steps per each macro.
- If programming a macro over a previously assigned macro, it will replace it.
