SaunaLife Garden-Series Model G6 Installation Guide
Welcome to your SaunaLife outdoor sauna.
1. INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
The base or foundation for your Sauna must be leveled and stable. The Sauna must be positioned at least 3 inches higher than the surrounding ground. All base beams require adequate support underneath them.
Diagram illustrating the base support structure: A rectangular outline representing the sauna's footprint, with internal dashed lines indicating multiple support points for the base beams to ensure stability and elevation.
Recommendation:
SaunaLife recommends placing the Sauna on concrete blocks or strips that have a compressed gravel base underneath. Using geotextile material under the Sauna will prevent the growth of grass and weeds. It is also possible to place the Sauna on a terrace or pavement, provided the Sauna is still elevated higher than the surface.
2. TRANSPORT
Sauna can be lifted from above:
Lifting points are provided for M16 hooks, which are included with the sauna. Ensure the M16 lifting hook is screwed in fully.

For forklift transport:
- From short side: Forks must penetrate at least two-thirds of the way through the sauna base. Be mindful of the drainage pipe located underneath.
- From long side: Forks must go all the way through the sauna base. Again, be aware of the drainage pipe underneath.

Another shows forks entering from the longer side, extending fully. Both include a visual warning or note about the drainage pipe.
3. FINAL ASSEMBLY
Final assembly of the sauna is the responsibility of the client. The final assembly process includes the installation of the following components:
- Parapet metal
- Decorative base boards
- Outdoor lights (120V)
- Heater (including control unit)
- Rainwater system
- Cables
- Electrical cabinet for lighting
3.1 Final Assembly Instructions
3.1.1 Parapet metals
Parapet metals must be installed to protect the sauna from weather damage.
Diagram showing the sauna's exterior. It highlights the placement of parapet metals, the electrical cabinet, the control cabinet, the air inlet cover, and the base boards around the sauna. Fixing instructions are provided: parapet metals are secured with 4.8x28 roof screws, base boards are fixed with black screws 4x50, and corner connections use black roof sealant and rivets.
3.1.2 Base boards and Rainwater system
Base boards are primarily for decorative purposes and are designed for easy installation. The rainwater system should be installed when the sauna is exposed to rainwater.
Diagram showing the sauna's exterior, focusing on the rainwater system and base boards. It details the installation of the gutter with four supports, fixed using 5x70 screws. The drop outlet is fixed with rivets. The downpipe is attached with two brackets using 5x70 screws. The outlet is also fixed with rivets. Base boards are shown around the sauna, pre-cut and drilled, fixed with black screws 4x50.
4. MAINTENANCE
The outdoor cladding of the sauna should be maintained once a year. If the sauna is used twice a week, the interior cladding, sauna bench, and floor grid should also be oiled annually.
5. IMPORTANT SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Ensure the sauna door is closed during the heating process to prevent overheating.
