Overview
The RCW-400A is a 4-channel temperature and humidity data logger offering wide temperature measurement ranges and high precision sensitivity. Its large LCD screen displays time, current status, memory capacity, and recorded data. Features include an embedded buzzer and relay alarm for on-site alerts, and a SIM card slot for SMS text alerts via GSM technology. Combined with 3G data transmission and the Elitech cloud platform, users can monitor real-time data online and manage saved data remotely via the Elitech App or web browsers. Standard accessories include one temperature and one humidity sensor, with options to extend to four-channel configurations (two temperature/two humidity, or four temperature sensors). The device has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery supporting continuous data uploading and SMS alerts during power outages. It is suitable for use in food, pharmaceutical, and catering industries.

LCD Display
The device's LCD screen displays various information:
- (1) Power charging indicator [power-charging-icon]
- (2) Battery level indicator [battery-level-icon]
- (3) Over limit alarm indicator: a. MAX: Over upper-limit; b. MIN: Under lower-limit
- (4) Sensor channels: Displays channels 1&2, then 3&4. Specific pin assignments are detailed in the Sensors Installation section.

- (6) Recording status: a. Wait: waiting for recording; b. Act: recording
- (7) Recorded points count

Appearance
The device features an LCD screen. Key indicators and components include:

Other noted elements are 'View version number' and 'Not used' areas on the device.
Operation
(1) Access the device ID
The device is identified by a unique GUID (20-digit number).
(2) SIM card installation and replacement
Insert your SIM card into the side slot. Ensure the logger is protected from heat during installation.
(3) Antenna installation
Connect the GSM antenna to the designated connector on the device.
(4) Power ON/OFF and Charging
Use the Power ON/OFF button to turn the device on or off. Connect the power adapter to the Power connector for charging.
Sensors Installation
Detailed wiring diagrams for connecting sensors to the device:
Wiring for 2 Channel Temperature Sensors
Channel 1 connects to pins 8&9. Channel 2 connects to pins 12&13.
Wiring for 4 Channel Temperature Sensors
Channel 1: Pins 8&9. Channel 2: Pins 12&13. Channel 3: Pins 14&15. Channel 4: Pins 16&17.
Wiring for 4 Channel Temperature and Humidity Sensors
Two humidity sensors connect to pins 6,7,8,9 and 10,11,12,13 respectively. Two temperature sensors connect to pins 14&15 and 16&17 respectively.
Wiring for 2 Channel Temperature and Humidity Sensors
One temperature sensor connects to pins 8&9. One humidity sensor connects to pins 10,11,12,13.
Note: Measured values will appear on screen after sensors are plugged in for 15 to 20 seconds.
Elitech App
1. Download and Login
Download the Elitech app by searching for 'Elitech' on the App Store or Google Play, or by scanning the QR code provided in the manual. Register and log in to your account.
2. Add Device
Follow these steps to add a device:
- Click the '+' icon.
- Scan the QR code on the back of the device.
- Click 'Add' to include the device in your account.
Elitech Cloud
1. Login Cloud Portal
Access the cloud portal at www.i-elitech.com for further operations. Refer to the 'Help' section within the portal for detailed instructions.
2. Top up SIM card
Recharge your SIM card as per the instructions in the App Instruction Manual. A complimentary period may be offered.
