Watches are classified by levels (from I to V) according to their degree of water protection. Refer to the table below for correct operation.

Notes for relevant sections:
- Level I: The watch is not water-resistant. Avoid any contact with moisture.
- Level II: Do not pull out the crown while the watch is wet.
- Level III: Do not press the watch buttons underwater.
- Level IV: If the watch is exposed to salt water, rinse it thoroughly and dry it.
- Level V: The watch can be used for scuba diving (excluding depths requiring a helium-oxygen mixture).
- Some water-resistant watches feature leather straps. Do not wear these watches while swimming or engaging in other activities where the strap may be submerged in water.
Watch Care
- Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover yourself.
- The rubber gasket that protects the watch from water and dust should be replaced every 2-3 years.
- If water enters the watch, have it checked immediately by your nearest CASIO dealer or distributor.
- Do not expose the watch to extreme temperatures.
- While the watch is designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and dropping it.
- Do not fasten the strap too tightly. A finger should fit between your wrist and the strap.
- To clean the watch and strap, use a dry soft cloth or a soft cloth dampened with a mild solution of neutral detergent. Never use volatile substances (e.g., gasoline, solvents, aerosol cleaners, etc.).
- When not in use, store your watch in a dry place.
- Avoid exposing the watch to gasoline, cleaning solvents, spray aerosols, adhesives, paint, etc. Chemical reactions caused by these materials can damage gaskets, the case, and the watch's finish.
- Some watches feature silk-screened designs on their straps. Be careful when cleaning such straps to avoid damaging these designs.
For watches with plastic straps:
- You may notice a whitish powdery substance on the strap. This substance is harmless to your skin or clothing and can be easily removed by wiping with a cloth.
- Exposure of the plastic strap to sweat or moisture, or storing it in high humidity conditions, can lead to damage, tearing, or cracking of the strap. To ensure a long service life for the plastic strap, wipe off dirt and water with a soft cloth whenever possible.
For watches with fluorescent cases and straps:
- Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause gradual fading of the fluorescent color.
- Extended contact with any wet surface may lead to discoloration of the fluorescent color. Ensure the fluorescent surface is kept dry and avoid contact with other surfaces.
- Vigorous rubbing of a surface with fluorescent paint against another surface may cause the fluorescent paint to transfer to that surface.
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may occur from the use of this watch and does not accept claims from third parties.
