Product Instructions
Guidelines to Ensure Performance
- Performance may be limited if the caliper is wet or used in humidity conditions > 80%. Wipe off any liquid and ensure the area between the slider and beam is completely dry before reuse.
- This product complies with the EMC Directive. In environments with electromagnetic interference exceeding EMC requirements, appropriate countermeasures are needed to prevent measurement interference.
- Optimal operating temperature is 0-40°C (32-104°F). Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or temperatures below 0°C/32°F.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the caliper.
- Handle with care to prevent falling.
⚠️ Safety Instructions
- Do not disassemble, short-circuit, charge, expose to direct sunlight, or heat the battery. This can cause leakage, eye contact, or battery heating/explosion.
- If a battery is swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
- The outside and inside measuring jaws have sharp edges. Handle with great care to avoid injury.

Usage Instructions
I. Preparation Steps
- Rotate the locking screw clockwise to loosen the caliper and release the lock. The caliper can then be moved manually.
- Turn on the caliper to check if the display and buttons are functioning.
- Clean the measuring surfaces. Close the measuring jaws with appropriate force and briefly press the 0/0 button to turn on and set the zero point.
II. Measurement Operation
- Press the power button or slide the caliper frame to illuminate the display.
- Press the Metric/Inch button to select the desired measurement unit based on requirements.
- Move the caliper frame so that the measuring surfaces of the two jaws are in close contact with the object's surfaces. Read the value displayed on the screen.
Modes:
Normal Mode: Upon powering on, the display shows the slider's position from before the last shutdown. The zero position (origin) is the last set zero position. No adjustment is needed for absolute measurement mode. For relative measurement mode, press the INC button to set the zero position (non-origin) as needed.
Power Saving Mode (Shutdown after 8+ hours): Upon powering on, the absolute measurement zero position is the caliper frame's position at startup. After cleaning the measuring surfaces, close the jaws and long-press the 0/0 button for five seconds to reset the absolute measurement mode's zero position.
III. Switching Between Absolute and Relative Measurement
Relative Measurement: Briefly press the INC button. The 'INC' indicator appears on the left of the LCD. The caliper enters INC memory measurement, resets to zero, and starts counting from the position where the INC button was pressed.
Absolute Measurement: In relative measurement mode, press the INC button again. The 'INC' indicator disappears, returning to absolute mode. Counting resumes from the zero position set at startup.
Installing / Replacing the Battery
Follow these steps for battery installation/replacement (refer to Figure 1):
- Always use a CR2032 3V battery.
- The supplied batteries are for function checking only and may not meet the specified battery life.
- Step 1: Using provided tools, remove battery compartment screws.
- Step 2: Use the provided tool to gently pull out the battery compartment.
- Step 3: Insert the battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Step 4: Insert the compartment lid with the battery. Use provided tools to secure the screws.
- Step 5: Installation is complete.
Low Battery Indicator: Flashing digits on the LCD indicate low battery power. Replace the battery.
Long-Term Storage: If the caliper will not be used for over a month, remove the battery and store it properly to prevent leakage and damage.
Troubleshooting
