Technical drawings show the luminaire's dimensions: overall diameter approximately 80 mm, required ceiling cut-out diameter 68 mm. The luminaire requires a minimum installation depth of 60 mm. The overall housing dimensions are approximately 119 x 53 mm.

Overvoltage Protection

Installation

Important Note: LEDs are high-quality electronic components. Avoid touching the light output opening directly during installation or relamping.

The recessed opening is covered by the luminaire's frame. The luminaire is fixed using 2 adjustable wedge-shaped claws.

Installation into False Ceilings

A ceiling cut-out of Ø 68 mm is required, with a minimum free space depth of 60 mm. The claws engage behind the panel. The panel thickness should be between 3 mm and 20 mm. Thinner panels must be reinforced. The electrical connection must be made on-site in the appropriate safety class using the LED power supply unit's connecting cable. A distribution box is required. Ensure correct wiring: connect brown (L) and blue (N) wires.

Push the external LED power supply unit and luminaire housing into the ceiling cut-out. Hand-tighten the claw fastener screws evenly. Lead the enclosed ceiling trim ring over the glass screw neck and secure it with the glass gasket. Ensure the gasket is correctly positioned. Screw the glass with the trim ring clockwise into the luminaire housing.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean the luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers. Defective glass must be replaced.

LED Module Replacement

The designation of the LED module is noted on a label inside the luminaire. BEGA replacement modules match the original modules in light color and output. Replacement can be done by qualified persons using standard tools.

Procedure:

1. Disconnect the main power supply.
2. Unscrew the glass with the ceiling trim ring by turning counter-clockwise.
3. Follow the specific installation instructions for the LED module.
4. Check the gasket.
5. Screw the glass with the trim ring clockwise into the luminaire housing until it stops.

A defective glass must be replaced.
