Product Overview and Dimensions

The IKEA SÖDERBODA is an undercounter dishwasher designed for seamless integration into kitchen cabinetry. The unit has a width of 598mm, a height of 815mm, and a depth of 580mm.

Installation Space Requirements:

• The dishwasher requires a space of 600mm width.
• The height of the installation space should be between 880-885mm.
• A minimum clearance of 580mm is required from the front edge of the countertop.
• Ensure 90° clearance for opening the appliance doors.

Required Tools: Screwdriver, Spirit Level, Scissors, Drill, M6 Wrench, Gloves.

Installation Steps

1. Step 1: Attach the support rail (I) to the underside of the countertop, ensuring it is centered and flush with the front edge. The rail is 600mm long.
2. Step 2: Position the dishwasher within the designated cabinet space, ensuring it is centered. The required space is 600mm.
3. Step 3: Adjust the height of the dishwasher using the adjustable feet. The front edge of the dishwasher should be set at X-23mm from the cabinet front. Use the provided screws (X2) to secure the feet.
4. Step 4: Extend the adjustable feet to achieve the desired height, approximately 30mm extension.
5. Step 5: Secure the dishwasher to the cabinet using the provided screws (E). Ensure the unit is stable and level. Follow the diagram for correct placement of screws.
6. Step 6: Adjust the dishwasher height again to X-3mm from the cabinet front using the M6 screws.
7. Step 7: Attach the mounting brackets (C) to the sides of the dishwasher. Ensure the 'L' bracket is on the left and the 'R' bracket is on the right.
8. Step 8: Align the mounting brackets with the pre-drilled holes in the cabinet side panels.
9. Step 9: Secure the dishwasher to the cabinet using screws (D) through the 'L' and 'R' brackets.
10. Step 10: Further secure the dishwasher using screws (D) into the front bottom edge of the cabinet.
11. Step 11: Slide the dishwasher into its final position within the cabinet. Ensure it fits snugly and is level.
12. Step 12: Connect the water supply and drainage hoses. Ensure all connections are secure. The water supply connection requires a 3/4" fitting.
13. Step 13: Secure the dishwasher to the cabinet using screws (B) through the mounting brackets.
14. Step 14: Secure the front of the dishwasher to the cabinet using screws (A).
15. Step 15: Connect the water inlet hose to the water supply tap (3/4" connection). The water pressure should be between 0.3-10 bar. Ensure the drainage hose is properly connected to the sink's drain pipe. The maximum height for the drainage hose is 1000mm. Use the clamp (G) to secure the hose if necessary.
