Changing the Battery
Follow these steps to replace the battery in your remote control:
- Open the small compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Using a small screwdriver, push the battery towards the outside.
- Replace the old battery with a new 3V CR2032 battery.
Warning: Risk of explosion if the battery is not replaced correctly. Replace only with the same type or an equivalent type.
Pairing the Remote Control with a DiO 1.0 Module, Socket, or Bulb
This product is compatible with all DiO 1.0 peripherals operating under the DiO 1.0 radio protocol, and with the DiO Smart Home main unit for control through your smartphone. Using the DiO main unit, you can control your home wherever you are through your smartphone and also make your DiO 1.0 remote control compatible with DiO 2.0 peripherals. Pairing Steps:
- Connect the receiver (module, socket, bulb) to power.
- Bring the remote control close to the DiO 1.0 receiver. Press the receiver's learn button (refer to the receiver manual); the receiver's LED will flash.
- Press the 'ON' button (symbol 'I') on the remote control to link them.
- The lamp connected to the module/socket will flash twice to confirm the association, and the receiver's LED will stop flashing.
Deleting the Link Between Remote Control and DiO Receiver
If the remote control memory is full or you wish to delete a receiver:
- Bring the remote control close to the receiver to be deleted. Press the receiver's learn button (socket, module, doorbell, bulb - refer to the product manual); the receiver's LED will flash.
- Press the 'OFF' button (symbol 'O') on the remote control to be deleted. The lamp will flash twice to confirm deletion, and the receiver's LED will stop flashing.
Usage
ON/OFF Control: Press the 'ON' button (symbol 'I') once to turn your light, device, or roller shutter on, or the 'OFF' button (symbol 'O') once to turn it off.
Dimmer (only with compatible modules/sockets/bulbs): Press the 'ON' button (symbol 'I') twice. The brightness will start to vary. Press 'ON' again to stop varying. When turning off with the 'OFF' button, the last selected brightness level is saved in the receiver's memory.
DiO 1.0 receivers can be controlled individually or in combination with other receivers (e.g., a DiO switch can close a shutter and turn on a light simultaneously).
Troubleshooting
Receiver not activated when remote button is pressed:
- Check battery polarity and charge.
- Ensure the remote control is linked to the receiver and the receiver is correctly connected.
- Check the receiver's memory status (refer to receiver manual).
Important: The range is up to 50m in open field but can be reduced by walls or existing wireless environments. Maintain a minimum distance of 1-2m between DiO receivers. Do not use in damp environments.
