This product contains a button cell battery. If swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in as little as 2 hours. Keep new and used batteries out of reach of children. If the battery compartment does not close properly, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you suspect batteries have been swallowed or placed inside a body part, seek medical attention immediately.
2. Associating Your Remote with a DiO Receiver
The DiO Remote Control is compatible with all DiO receivers, including switches and modules.
2.1 Associating the Remote Control with a DiO 1.0 or DiO Connect Receiver
Steps:
- Connect the module or switch and bring it close to the DiO remote control.
- Put the DiO 1.0 or DiO Connect Receiver into learning mode. The LED indicator on the receiver will start to flash slowly. [Illustration: Receiver with flashing LED]
- Within 12 seconds, press the [ON] button on the remote control. The LED on the remote control will flash rapidly for 1 second to confirm the association. [Illustration: Remote with ON button pressed, LED flashing rapidly]
Attention: If the [ON] button is not pressed within 12 seconds, the module/socket will exit learning mode. You must restart the association process from step 2.1.
2.2 Deleting the DiO 1.0 Receiver Remote Control
Steps:
- Bring the remote control close to the DiO 1.0 socket, module, or outlet.
- Put the DiO 1.0 Receiver into learning mode. The LED indicator on the receiver will start to flash slowly. [Illustration: Receiver with flashing LED]
- Press the [v] button on the channel you wish to delete. The LED on the remote control will flash rapidly for 1 second to confirm deletion. [Illustration: Remote with specific channel 'v' button pressed, LED flashing rapidly]
3. Operation

To Stop Halfway: Press the [-] button to stop the shutter when the desired position is reached.
The remote control features automatic shutdown after 2 minutes of continuous use.
Controlling Different Shutters: Up to 5 shutters or groups of shutters can be controlled by the DiO remote control. Press the [CHAN] button on the remote control to cycle through channels. The selected channel number is confirmed by the number of LEDs illuminated on the remote control. [Illustration: Remote with CHAN button, LEDs indicating channel]
Centralization: The 6th channel automatically controls all shutters linked to channels 1 to 5. Press the [CHAN] button 6 times. The 5 LEDs on the remote will flash red once, then press [^] or [v] to open or close all your shutters simultaneously. 4. Troubleshooting
Issue: The receiver is not activated when the remote control is pressed.
Possible Solutions:
- Check the battery polarity and ensure it is not depleted.
- Verify that the remote control is correctly associated with the receiver and that the receiver is properly connected.
- Check the status of the receiver's memory (refer to the receiver's manual for details).
Important Notes:
- The effective range between the receiver and the remote control is up to 50 meters, but this can be reduced by wall thickness or a congested wireless environment.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 1-2 meters between two DiO receivers (modules, sockets, or bulbs) to prevent interference.
- Do not use the device in damp locations.
