Safety Instructions
A temperature range of 36.0°C to 38.0°C is recommended for bathing water for a baby.
CAUTION: Water temperatures above 40°C can injure the baby's skin.
Please supervise your baby or toddler when the bath thermometer is in the bath water. This device is not a toy. It contains small parts (battery, etc.) that could be swallowed by children. In the unlikely event that a battery or other part is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
Batteries must not be recharged or reactivated by any other means, disassembled, thrown into a fire, or short-circuited.
DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! This device contains electronic components powered by a power source (battery). Never leave children unattended when handling the device! Only use the device as described in the instruction manual, otherwise there is a RISK of an ELECTRIC SHOCK!
FIRE/EXPLOSION HAZARD! Do not expose the device to high temperatures. Use only the recommended batteries. Do not short-circuit or throw the device and batteries into a fire! Excessive heat and improper handling can cause short circuits, fires, and even explosions!
RISK OF BURNS! Batteries must be kept out of children's reach! Ensure correct polarity when inserting the battery. Leaking or damaged batteries will cause chemical burns if they come into contact with the skin. Use suitable protective gloves if necessary.
Leaking battery acid can cause chemical burns! Avoid contact of battery acid with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. In case of contact with the acid, immediately rinse the affected areas with plenty of clear water and seek medical attention.
Do not disassemble the device! In the event of a defect, please contact your dealer. The dealer will contact the service centre and send the device for repair if necessary.
This device often requires the use of sharp-edged and pointed tools. Therefore, keep this device, all accessories, and tools out of the reach of children. There is a DANGER OF INJURY!

Product Overview
The bath thermometer is designed to measure water temperature for baby baths. It features a digital LCD display and is suitable for household use. It is not a medical device and should be used under adult supervision.

Operation
Turn the device on using the On/Off switch.
The display will show L°C with the °C blinking, then it will show the water temperature, which updates every 10 seconds.
To conserve battery life, turn the device off manually after use. Otherwise, it will automatically shut off.
Bath temperature reminder: If the measured temperature is above or below the specified range, the high or low temperature indicator will flash.
NOTE: A baby bath water temperature of 36.0°C ~ 38.0°C is recommended.

Cleaning
Clean the bath thermometer if necessary with lukewarm water and a standard detergent. Do not clean in a dishwasher. Clean the sensor before storage.
Battery Replacement
If the [?] symbol appears on the LCD display, a battery replacement is required. Follow these steps:
- Turn the device over.
- Unscrew the screw.
- Remove the cover.
- Turn the device over and press on the display.
- Turn the device over and remove the module.
- Pull the cap from the module.
- Remove the old battery with a toothpick or other non-metallic tool and then insert a new battery (LR 41) according to the polarity. ("+" is on top, "-" is at the bottom).
- Attach the cap to the module.
- Reinsert the module. Once the main module is securely in place, a clicking sound will be heard.
- Attach the cover.
- Screw in the screw.
WARNING! Dispose of the old battery carefully and out of the reach of small children. Swallowing the battery can be fatal. If the battery is swallowed, contact a hospital immediately to have it removed. Do not throw the battery into a fire. It may explode.

Batteries are marked with a crossed-out waste bin symbol and the chemical symbol of the contaminant: "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Hg" stands for mercury and "Pb" stands for lead.
