Godrej Refrigerator Additional Warranty Terms and Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“T&C”): ADDITIONAL WARRANTY ON REFRIGERATOR (“Scheme”)

This scheme is applicable only for sales made through Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited's authorized channels, including Godrej Exclusive Brand Outlets, Godrej Preferred Brand Outlets, authorized dealers, and authorized retail counters in Kerala. It is valid only for the first purchaser and is non-transferable.

Products covered under these T&C receive an additional warranty of up to 2 years, in addition to the standard 1-year comprehensive warranty, for a total warranty coverage of 3 years ("Warranty Period"). To be eligible, customers must present a valid warranty card signed by an authorized dealer.

This scheme applies to specific models:

• Direct Cool Refrigerators: 2 Year extended warranty on all 5 Star DC Models; 1 Year extended warranty on 1, 2, 3, and 4 Star DC models.
• Frost Free Refrigerators: All models of FF Refrigerators (Model list provided below).

The warranty is valid from the date of purchase (invoice date) against defective material or workmanship. The Company will undertake repairs at its cost during the Warranty Period, subject to these terms and conditions.

The Company reserves the right to verify customer-submitted information. Breach of terms, conditions, or misrepresentation may lead to the refusal, discontinuation, or cancellation of benefits, including extended warranty.

To avail the benefits, customers must register on https://www.godrejenterprises.com/support/home-appliances/refrigerators/warranty with product and invoice details within 7 days of purchase.

Repairs and spare parts replacement will be handled by the Company's authorized service provider at their discretion, only if deemed necessary. Customers cannot compel the Company to perform repairs or replacements it does not deem necessary.

This Scheme is valid from 10th August 2025 to 10th September 2025 and cannot be combined with other schemes. If multiple schemes are active, the one with the longer warranty period will apply.

The Company or its authorized service provider (ASP) will collect replaced parts or components applicable to this Scheme.

Parts Covered and Not Covered Under Warranty

Warranty Does Not Include:

• Any customization by the customer, including changes in size or accessories used for the appliance.
• Damages/defects arising from transport, rough handling, misuse, repair by unauthorized personnel, damage by rodents/insects, accidents, heat, fire, floods, or acts of God.
• Problems arising from voltage fluctuations beyond the range specified in the user manual/product specification, or use of improper power supply, electrical socket connection, or installation.
• Failure of condenser and evaporator coil due to deterioration from site/climatic conditions under the extended warranty scheme.
• This Scheme is limited to repairs and replacement of specific spare parts as listed; it does not cover the replacement of the entire product.

In case of any conflict, fraud, misrepresentation, or dispute, the Company's decision shall be final.

The Warranty Period on replaced or repaired products will be the balance period from the date of the first sale.

Product features, specifications, and warranty terms are subject to change without notice.

This Scheme is not applicable to institutional sale customers.

Special discounts on service charges for parts are not covered.

No service charges apply for parts covered under the Scheme or warranty.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CUSTOMERS

1. To avail benefits, ensure the product is installed and a demo is conducted by an authorized service provider at the time of purchase.
2. Defective products will be repaired by the Company within a reasonable period, at its discretion and manner. The Company's decision on defects is final and binding.
3. This Scheme is valid only for sales through authorized Godrej outlets and dealers. The Warranty Card must be signed and stamped by the dealer and presented with the original bill for any claim.
4. The product must retain its original label for identification and warranty confirmation.
5. Inform the authorized service provider about the defect details, model, and serial number.
6. Warranty applies from the invoice date against defective material or workmanship. Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited - Appliances Division will undertake repairs under the Warranty Period, subject to T&Cs.
7. Transportation costs and costs for complaint attendance are borne by the customer.
8. Transportation and handling expenses incurred during repair are payable by the customer.
9. For installations beyond municipal limits of the ASP's jurisdiction, technician visit charges and incidentals are borne by the customer.

WARRANTY BECOMES INVALID IF

1. The Warranty Card is not signed at the time of purchase.
2. The Warranty Card is not presented to the authorized service provider at the time of service or repair.
3. The Product is not operated according to instructions given in the "User Guide".

Any implied warranties on these products, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, shall not exceed the duration of this limited warranty, which begins with the date of purchase. The service terms stated herein are the customer's sole and exclusive remedy in the event of product failure during the Warranty Period.

Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, losses, or claims arising from the use or inability to use this product, or for breach of any express or implied warranty. The Company does not warrant the product's suitability for any person's medical condition and makes no warranty beyond what is contained in writing. The Company does not authorize any person to create any other obligation or liability in connection with this warranty.

Any claims arising from this document will be restricted to courts within the Mumbai jurisdiction and subject to the laws of India.
