Warranty Coverage
The Godrej Fully Automatic Washing Machine comes with a 24 MONTHS comprehensive warranty and a 10 years motor warranty from the date of purchase, covering defective material or workmanship. Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. - Appliance Division will repair the appliance free of charge during the warranty period, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Instructions for the Customer
- Ensure the dealer fills the warranty card correctly and completely.
- Retain the warranty card for records and produce it for any warranty repairs.
- In case of a defect, contact the nearest authorized Godrej & Boyce Service Centre, providing the defect, model details, and serial number.
- The product is designed to function within +/-5% of rated volts. Fluctuations beyond this limit will terminate the warranty.
- Earthing provision is necessary for safety.
- The frequency must be within a 5% variation of 50Hz. Deviations may lead to unforeseen hazards, and the company will not be liable, terminating the warranty.
- The COMPANY is not responsible for damage caused by neglect, abuse, misuse, tampering, alteration, accident, fire, floods, acts of God, or damage by rodents or insects. The company is not liable for consequential loss or compensation, nor will it provide a refund or replacement.
- If any part is repaired or replaced, the warranty continues for the unexpired period. Time taken for repair/replacement, including transit, is not excluded from the warranty period.
- Water supply must be above 0.5 bar (7.25 PSI) for the Fully Automatic washing machine to operate. Without adequate water supply, the product cannot be installed.
Terms and Conditions
- Repairs and replacement of parts will be carried out by the Authorized Customer Service Centre.
- All transportation and handling expenses incurred during repair are payable by the customer.
- For appliances installed beyond municipal limits of the authorized service centre, technician visit and other incidental charges will be borne by the customer.
- While the company aims to carry out repairs promptly, there is no obligation to complete repairs within a specified period.
- The Company/its authorized service centre will collect any replaced parts or components.
- Warranty does not cover accessories for the appliance.
- The Company's obligation is limited to repairing or providing replacement of parts.
- In case spares are unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the company's depreciation rules will apply for a commercial solution in lieu of repairs.
- Warranty is void if the original serial number sticker is removed, obliterated, or altered.
Warranty Void Conditions
The warranty is valid only if filled and stamped by an authorized dealer with the date of purchase. Warranty is void if:
- The Warranty Card is not completed properly at the time of purchase.
- The completed warranty card is not presented at the time of service.
- The appliance is not operated according to the 'User guide' instructions.
- Defects are caused by improper use, as determined by authorized personnel.
- Unauthorized persons carry out repair work.
- Defects are caused by reasons beyond control, such as abnormal voltage, acts of God, or damage during transit to the service centre or purchaser's residence.
- The serial number is deleted, defaced, or altered.
- Damage to the appliance or any parts due to transportation or shifting is not covered.
- The warranty automatically expires after 24 months from the original purchase date, regardless of usage during the warranty period.
