01/What's in The Box

02/Preparations Before Connecting

For safety: Ensure to use the original power adapter.

Before Connecting:

SD Card Note: Please insert the SD card before powering on the camera, otherwise, the SD card may not be recognized. The camera supports up to a 512GB SD card (SD card is not included).

03/Product Diagram

The camera features the following components:

Power on Camera:

  1. Plug in the camera's power cable using the included 5V power adapter.
  2. After the infrared light goes out, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds to reset the camera.
  3. Wait for the "Reset Successfully" beep, then wait for approximately 60 seconds.
  4. When you hear the "Ding" beep, the camera has been reset and powered on.

04/Application

Note: The application may be updated periodically to improve user experience. Screen layouts and functions might change. Please refer to the actual application screen for details. Contact us for detailed functions and operation methods. This manual content is for reference only.

05/Register an Account

Follow these steps to register an account:

  1. Open the "canny cam" application.
  2. Tap "Sign Up".
  3. Enter your email address and the verification code.
  4. Enter and confirm your password (between 8-32 characters).
  5. Confirm login.

You will need to agree to the service agreement and privacy policy during registration.

06/Camera Connection

Follow these steps to connect your camera:

  1. In the app, tap the "+" icon to add a camera.
  2. Use your phone to scan the QR code on the device with the camera.
  3. Wait for Bluetooth connection. The status will show "Device connecting...".
  4. Enter your Wi-Fi account and password.
  5. Click "Set Up" to complete the process.
  6. Customize your camera name and password.

The camera will indicate "Camera added successfully!".

07/Install The Camera

The camera can be installed in different orientations:

Mounting typically involves using the provided bracket, screws, and expansion pipes.

Note: When the camera is installed vertically on the ceiling, please flip the screen orientation in the APP settings.

Important: Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the SD card.
