VIMTAG Smart Camera App Guide
A guide to navigating and using key features of the VIMTAG smart camera application, including account management, cloud video access, and event viewing.
Account Management
The application provides an "Account" section for user profile and settings.
- Nickname: Set a personalized nickname for your account.
- User Name: Displays the username (e.g., "itnbcr").
- Exit: Option to log out.
Within the account interface, users can access:
- My Album
- My cloud storage (indicated by "2. hit it")
- Account password management
- Bind Email
- My Order
- Local Search
- Bill
The "Account" tab is marked as "1. selected".
Cloud Video Access
The "Cloud Video" screen allows viewing recorded footage.
- The screen features a video player with standard controls: play/pause, volume [Volume], download [Download], and delete [Delete].
- A date "2023/1/07" is displayed.
- Access to further options is available via a menu icon (☰), indicated by "3. tap this to enter the next page".
Device Connection and Event Review
QR Code Scanning
To add a device, scan its QR code:
- Navigate to "Scan the QR Code".
- Follow the instruction: "Scan the QR code on the device's label to get the ID."
- A visual of a QR code scanner is presented.
- Alternatively, users can "Enter the ID Manually" or select "Can't find the QR code".
- Proceed to the next step by following the indicated prompt.
Event Selection
On the "Camera-cja" screen, users can select storage and view events:
- Choose between "Cloud" and "SD Card" storage.
- View "Monthly Cloud Storage" details, including renewal options and expiration dates.
- To check specific events:
- Select the desired date (e.g., "2023-01-06").
- Adjust the time by interacting with the timeline (indicated by "flip this to select the time").
- Filter events by "Sound" [?], "Motion Detection" [Motion Detection], or "All" [All].
- The final step is "4. select this to check the event".
Live Feed Controls
The live camera feed offers several controls:
- Recording modes: "Auto", "Day", "Night".
- The "HD" button is highlighted, with an instruction "Tap this to get the HD pic", likely for switching to HD view or capturing a snapshot.
- A full-screen icon [Fullscreen] is available for immersive viewing.
- Status information includes storage usage (e.g., "178kB") and date (e.g., "2022-09-10").
