RF Exposure Information (SAR)
This device meets the EU's Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limits for the general population or uncontrolled exposure (maximum permissible SAR value for 10 grams of tissue when worn on the body and close to the head: 2.0 W/kg), as defined by Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC, the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) guidelines, and Directive 2014/53/EU (RED).
During SAR testing, this device was set to transmit at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands and placed in positions that simulate RF exposure during head use and at a distance of 5 mm from the body. Compliance with SAR requirements for body-worn operation is confirmed at a distance of 5 mm between the device and the human body. The device should be worn at least 5 mm away from the body to ensure RF exposure levels are within the permissible limits.

- Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
RF Exposure Information (SAR)
This device meets government requirements for exposure to radio waves. This device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy. The standard for RF exposure used a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR).
The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg. This device was tested for body-worn operation. Testing confirmed that the device complies with FCC RF exposure guidelines when used with an accessory that does not contain metal and positions the device at least 1.0 cm from the body. Compliance with RF exposure requirements for body-worn accessories containing metal components has not been verified and certified, and therefore, the use of such accessories should be avoided. Any accessories used for body-worn operation of the device must ensure a distance of at least 1.0 cm between the device and the body.
FCC Note
