RF Exposure (SAR) Information
This device complies with the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limits for the general population or uncontrolled exposure (maximum permissible SAR value for 10 grams of tissue when worn on the body and close to the head: 2.0 W/kg), as defined by the EU Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC, recommendations of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection, and Directive 2014/53/EU (RED). During SAR testing, this device was set to transmit at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands and placed in positions simulating RF exposure during use close to the head and at a distance of 5 mm from the body. Compliance with SAR requirements for body-worn operation is confirmed at a distance of 5 mm between the device and the human body. The device should be carried at least 5 mm away from the body to ensure RF exposure levels comply with or are below the permissible limits. To secure the device to the body, a belt clip or case that does not contain metal components and allows for a 5 mm distance between the device and the body should be used. Verification and certification of RF exposure compliance when the device is worn on the body with metal-containing accessories have not been performed, so the use of such accessories should be avoided.
SAR Certification Information (Highest SAR Level):
- SAR limit (10 g): 2.0 W/kg
- SAR values: Head: 0.958 W/kg, Body: 0.993 W/kg (at 5 mm distance).

FCC Regulations
This mobile phone complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: 1) this device may not cause harmful interference; and 2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This phone has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, as described in Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy. If not installed or used according to instructions, it may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment causes harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver.
- Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
RF Exposure (SAR) Information
This device complies with government requirements for radio wave exposure. This device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for radio frequency (RF) energy. The standard for exposure to wireless devices uses a unit of measurement called the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). The SAR limit established by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg. This device has been tested for safe body-worn operation. Testing has shown that the device complies with FCC RF exposure guidelines when used with an accessory that does not contain metal and positions the device at least 1.0 cm from the body. Compliance with RF exposure requirements for body-worn accessories containing metal components has not been verified or certified, so their use should be avoided. Any accessories used for operating the device while worn on the body must ensure a distance of at least 1.0 cm between the device and the body.
FCC Note
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. To comply with FCC limits for Class B devices, shielded cables must be used with this equipment.
