Important Safety Instructions
For indoor use only. Regularly check the cord, the transformer, and all other parts for damage. If any part is damaged, the product should not be used. Keep these instructions for future use.
To reduce the risk of strangulation, the flexible wiring connected to this luminaire shall be effectively fixed to the wall if the wiring is within arm's reach.
The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the luminaire shall be destroyed.
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
ONLY USE A SAFETY TRANSFORMER WITH A SELV OUTPUT AS A SUPPLY FOR THE PRODUCT.
Use only IKEA LED drivers suited for this product. The total wattage of the lamps connected to one LED driver must not exceed the maximum power stated on that LED driver and never more than 30W.
Installation Guide
The following steps outline the installation process. Ensure you have the necessary tools and components before starting.
Tools Required (visual representation): A person holding a screwdriver and a drill. A Phillips head screwdriver and a drill bit (Ø 8 mm / 5/16″) are shown.
Components Included (visual representation): Two screws (2x), one screwdriver bit (1x), two mounting brackets (2x), and two decorative covers (2x).
Step 1: Measure and mark the desired locations for the mounting brackets. Ensure they are spaced correctly for the luminaire.
Step 2: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations using the appropriate drill bit (Ø 8 mm / 5/16″).
Step 3: Attach the mounting brackets to the surface using the provided screws (2x). Ensure they are securely fastened.
Step 4: Mount the luminaire onto the brackets. Align the luminaire with the brackets and push upwards until it clicks into place.
Step 5: Connect the luminaire's cable to the LED driver. The connection should click securely.
Step 6: Route the power cord from the LED driver to a power outlet. Ensure the cord is tidy and secured.
Step 7: Connect the LED driver to the power supply. The connection should click securely.
Important Warnings
Strangulation Hazard:
Never place cords within reach of children in cribs or playpens. Always secure cords to the wall or cabinet. Regularly check that cords are securely fastened. Pull cords to remove slack between fasteners and tie up any remaining slack between the driver and socket.
