Installation Steps

Step 1: Remove Seat Components

Lift the rear seat and remove the OEM gas strut. Repeat this process for the other side.

Step 2: Remove OEM Bolts

Remove the two OEM bolts as shown in the illustration. Repeat for the other side.

Step 3: Install Seat Lift Bar

Place the 2" seat lift bar under the seat, ensuring the notch faces the back of the vehicle.

Step 4: Attach Gas Strut

Attach the UTV Stereo gas strut to the seat as depicted. Repeat for the other side.

Step 5: Secure Lift Bar

Insert the supplied bolts with washers into the lower part of the seat lift bar.

Step 6: Fasten Seat Mount

Utilize the OEM bolts through the top of the seat mount and into the top of the seat lift bar. Secure with nuts and tighten all bolts.

Step 7: Position Subwoofer

Place the subwoofer into the enclosure and pre-drill holes as indicated.

Step 8: Route Wire

Run the subwoofer wire through the rubber grommet.

Step 9: Remove Floor Screws

Remove the five OEM screws from the floor. Retain the longest screw for the next step.

Step 10: Secure Bracket to Floor

Insert the OEM bolt through the bracket and secure it to the floor. Leave this slightly loose until the enclosure is in place.

Step 11: Align Enclosure

Position the enclosure within the vehicle and align its hole with the bracket.

Step 12: Secure Bracket to Enclosure

Use the included buttonhead bolt, a rubber seal washer, and a nut to fasten the bracket to the enclosure.

Step 13: Secure Enclosure to Floor

Use the provided hardware to attach the enclosure to the floor, with two fasteners on each side.

Step 14: Tighten Hardware

Now, fully tighten all previously installed hardware.

Step 15: Wire Subwoofer

Connect the subwoofer wiring according to its specific impedance requirements.

Step 16: Install Subwoofer

Place the subwoofer into the enclosure and secure it using the hardware that came with the subwoofer.
